I woke up with a groan. There was a pain in my head from when Naraku grabbed it. I looked around but didn't see him instead I saw a girl in white with white hair.
"Naraku said to show you."
She then showed me her mirror and I saw a reflection of Sesshomaru fighting Naraku. I hoped that he was okay as well as our son Inumaru.
Please be okay. I thought as the girl then disappeared leaving me to wonder about my son and the man I loved.Sesshomaru's POV
I jumped out of the way as that pitiful half-demon Naraku unleashed his roots. I easily dodged it. I was about to run at him, but Toshiro jumped out of the bush he was in with Rin and Jakken.
"What are you doing? I told you to stay put!" I yelled in anger.
"I'm not going to stand by and let you fight the demon that took my mother!" Toshiro yelled. His eyes then turned red with blueish green pupils. He took out his sword and ran towards the puppet and sliced his head off. The puppet disappeared, but then the real Naraku appeared.
"Naraku." I said anger seething through my teeth.
"Where is my mother!" Toshiro yelled.
"So that lovely woman is your mother? She is quite beautiful and must I say an excellent kisser." Naraku said with a chuckle. I could feel the anger boiling in me. What was wrong with me? Why was I getting angry of his touching her? Did I still have feelings for this woman? I cleared my thoughts and lunged at Naraku but he dodged it.
Toshiro then lunged at him and he dodged him as well. I sped at him and went to try stoke with my poison claw.
"I did not come here to fight. If you wish to see that woman again I suggest you come to the eastern forest. But you better hurry or I might just have my way with her." Naraku said with. Laughing as he disappeared in his miasma.
I looked over at my son who's eyes had returned to normal, but I could still see anger in them. I walked over and punched him on the head.
"Ow! What was that for?"
"Next time listen. You're as stubborn as your mother was." I said and began to walk away with Rin, Jakken and Ah-un following and Toshiro shortly after.
"I couldn't just stand aside! That's my mother and I made a promise to protect her. It's not like you care about her anyway." Toshiro said.
I stopped walking and felt Toshiro bump into me.
"Jakken, take Rin and ah-un and got get some water and food, were sleeping here for the night." I ordered.
Once they were gone. I looked back at my son. He was just like his mother and I in different ways.
I then slapped him. Shocking him probably but he deserved it.
"Don't ever say I don't care about your mother. You may think I don't, but I do care for her." I said.
"Could've fooled me! You were never even there. You left her before she could even tell you she was pregnant! You didn't get to see the pain behind her smile." Toshiro yelled.
"Your mother knows I wouldn't have wanted to be tied down." I said. Truth was I probably would have stayed if she asked. She's the only person I cared for. The only one who understood me.
"Why rescue my mother if you don't even care for her?" Toshiro asked.
"I do care for her. I made a mistake leaving." I said shocking my son and myself.
"You what?" Toshiro questioned.
"I made a mistake leaving even though your mother was better off." I said beginning to turn around and go sit by a tree.
"No, she wasn't. You don't know how mean the villagers were to my mother and I. You didn't have to see or hear mother crying because of the humans in our village. I'm going to rescue my mother and make her happy." Toshiro said and then began to walk away.
"Where are you going?"
"To train." Toshiro said and walked away.
I will never understand that boy. So Kootonii was going to tell me. She's been through so much pain that I didn't realize it. I'm such a fool. Even though, I despise everyone. I care for her and I'll have to make up to her and my son, somehow even though I know Toshiro is going to be tougher. So tiresome I thought and closed my eyes.
