Sesshomaru's Unknown Son

Chapter 2

"Hey over here!"  Toshiro said as he tried to play kemari with the boys of the village that lived near the castle.

Even though my son and I were demons and ruled the eastern land, the humans did not accept us. They thought my son and I did not belong near the village even if my father did once rule here before he died.

I watched as Toshiro tried to run and get the ball but the village boys would not let him near it. Toshiro was close to getting the ball when a boy pushed him to the ground.

"Stay away you demon!" the boy said

"Yeah nobody wants to play with you" another boy said. Toshiro was about to attack them with his poison claws when he remembered what his mother said once.

Flashback

I remember running to my mother and crying.

"Mother!" I cried as I ran to her arms and she embraced me.

"What's wrong Toshiro?" She asked as she knelt down to my height and held me close.

"W-why villagers mean to me?" I cried as she held me.

"I'm sorry Toshiro" My mother said as she held me. I then felt my kimono getting wet. I looked up to see my mother's face in tears.

"Mother you're crying?" I said with concern

"Promise me that no matter what you will never hate humans" my mother said as she cried

"Why mother?" I said as I tried to wipe her tears.

"I do not wish for you to end up like your father" my mother said

My father. I thought. But who is my father?

End Flashback

That was the first time I saw my mother cry.

"Hey demon!" a boy said snapping me out of my thoughts. I just walked away. He wasn't worth it.

"Too afraid to fight me!" the boy said and I stopped

"No you're just not worth it" I said and started to walk away when he pushed me from behind. I spun around and was about to strike him with my lightning claw but was stopped. I looked up to see that mother had grasped my hand.

"Toshiro" I loosened my grip on the boy who was shaking in fear and he ran away. I then felt my mother embrace me.

"I'm sorry mother. I almost attacked him!" Toshiro said and started to cry in my arms.

"It's okay Toshiro. How about we head back to the castle." my mother said and we headed back to the castle.

I let go of my mothers hand as soon as I saw Inutaro. He was my only friend in the castle. He was a dog demon like me. But he had both of his parents though. I only had my mother at least that's what I thought.

"Inutaro!" I called and he ran up to me and we tackled each other to the floor and started to wrestle.

"My lady" Suki said as my mother appeared.

"Tomorrow" It was the only thing my mother said. What was tomorrow. I thought and was once again tackled by Inutaro.
