Childhood Nightmares

"Aahhhhh!" I woke up.

"What happened?" Alyssa said as she rushed into my room.

"I was a child again, my parents were.. were... I can't even say it." I replied.

"Look, I know you don't want to be here, but we've been planning to go to Westminster High since second grade." Alyssa reminded me.

"Yeah, I know but the history is still here,.. with me and I WANT to forget them." I explained.

"Well at least you get to see your brothers and sisters."

"I know."

"Now, come on change and then we'll go to Starbucks."

"Alright now move your ass out of my room so I can change."

"Okay whore."

"Slut."

We bothed laughed. I changed into grey skinny jeans, a black tee, a purple hoodie, and grey chucks. "Alright, I changed besties."

"All we have to do is wait for Emilio."Lailanie said.

"Its Emiliano smart ass." I argued.

"Whatever. Emilio, hurry your ass up! MAN WHORE!"Lailanie yelled.

"Alright, alright can't you wait. I know you want to touch my sexy body" Emiliano said, touching his body.

"Shut up and you're driving Emilio." Lailanie continued.

"Its Emiliano you slut." he argued.

"I am not a slut."

"Yes you are," Alyssa, Emiliano, and I said in unison.

We drove to Starbucks where we always met afterschool.

"Alyssa, do you remember what we want?" I asked.

"Of course, we've been coming here since sixth grade." Alyssa answered.

After we got our coffee I asked,"Where are we going now?"

"How about the oasis." Emiliano replied.
