"Here she goes," I say crossing my arms rolling my eyes.
"And I'll gladly snatch them hoes right out the socket keep playing Jasmine"
Kash responds
"Do it th-"
My fiancé quickly grabs my mouth and tells me to relax.
"Baby, why you hate that girl so much. I thought Katorah was my best friend." She laughs kissing me on the forehead.
"Yeah you're right, I'm going to the restroom to freshen up."
"Okay beautiful, don't take too long because this should be quick."
"Right." M.A cuts in as she proceeds to enter the courtroom.
Walking down the hallway with big tall brown doors I make a right and enter a room with the women's restroom sign plastered on the wall. Approaching the stalls there is no one inside. I begin to weep uncontrollably and I knew it was bound to happen.
"Why couldn't she love me?" I grab a tissue to pat my eyes dry before it can ruin my make up any further.
Since middle school, Arkeisha and I use to be best friends. I watched her create and write her music. Those countless nights I stayed at her house and we kissed under the covers. She was my first! Know she acts like she doesn't remember a thing and that's what bothers me the most.
She was so afraid to be my girlfriend in high school that she distance herself from me and we haven't spoken since.
"Instead she chose to get her heart broken by that dyke Young M.A. Stupid stupid stupid!"
I gather myself and prepare to leave.
"But guess what? You're marrying her best friend who you lov-."
"Why did I say yes?"
I slam my hands on the sink bringing my head down.
I begin to cry again knowing the big mistake I made.
"I am in love with Arkeisha, not T..."
My phone rings and it's Tweety.
"Baby, you okay?"
"Oh yes baby, the breakfast got to me."
I laugh a little
"Shitty booty."
She jokes and I mock her holding the phone down.
"Baby I'm going to wait in the car okay I'm not feeling too good."
"I can come with you?"
I hear her begin to walk and I quickly say
"No it's fine, be there for your bestfriend."
"That lady is a grown man ma she got this."
She laughs
"Seriously bae go be there for her. Kash's bestfriend not even there with her and I know she probably feels horrible."
"As she should though."
"See you later bae."
"Okay baby bye."
Finally, personal space what is that?
"Sheesh"
I throw the stained napkins and walk off into the lobby where our keys where left.
"What the fuck!"
Kehlani steps out the bathroom stall and looks around in disbelief.
"I heard to much."
"We heard to much"
The person on the phone blurts out.
"Shawty this is between me and you okay?"
I say whispering to the phone.
"Her secret safe with me baby."
"I'm going to see you later love. Bye."
"Bye Kehlani."
