Teyana POV
The engagement party is tonight and I already bought all of my outfits. Shifting through my clothes I have one outfit that is a shimmery gold sequined fitted dress for the opening acts that's does not involve me. Of course, ya girl will be stepping on necks, never know whose watching.
Then I'll switch into a hot pink G string paired with a bralette, and then another olive mesh one piece from pretty little things.
The last two are being put together by M.A's designers so I'll have to wait to see but I know there'll be black leather.
"Hey girl, we outside!" I can hear Kimberly and the girls from the dance studio squealing in excitement to see M.A's house.
"Quinn should be coming to the door now, he'll be checking y'all just for safety reasons."
"Hold on, Quinn fine as hell!" I can hear Kimberly whisper over the phone.
"I think he's single bitch."
I respond hyping her up.
"Will be leaving with a boyfriend tonight." *beep*
She hangs up the phone and I make my way downstairs to the front door to greet the ladies.
"Welcome to mi casa."
I say as the ladies enter.
"Bitches get one gig and they feel like they own the whole world."
Honey says making her way to the kitchen laughing.
"Now where the food at?" She plops her Duffel bag on the kitchen counter.
"Fat ass we got snacks. Now get your shit off the women's counter."
"Let's go y'all."
I say directing the crew to the back of the house where the performance will be held.
"Damn she got acres."
Alex says looking all around M.As backyard.
She owns a large marble-floored pool. Connected to the pool is a jacuzzi that initials "M.A". Her beach chairs are being put up for tonight and are being replaced with seating for the guest. They turned her basketball court into the dance floor and her football field into the stage. Nothing is decorated yet but the main colors are gold and white. Basic.
"Alright, y'all let's do this. We'll start with 6 laps around the basketball court, 10 burpees in between, and cool off after 3 laps."
I begin to jog in place to set the tone and everyone immediately follows. I love a hard-working team.
3 hours later...
Young M.A POV
"Thank you boss man, I'll see you with the balloons at 7 pm." *Beep*
I place my keys on the hook labeled Audi and begin to walk to the fridge to grab a cranberry juice. I can hear loud music coming from the back and Teyana yelling "5,6,7,8". Her voice is so unique I can tell she can sing.
Walking past my glass doors I walk towards the stage and greet Teyana and her dancing crew and the Dj turns down the music."
"HELLO!" I say with my arms open and a big grin.
"Wassup M.A"
"Yooo"
"Heyy!"
"Omg, I love you!"
Different responses are thrown at me all at once.
"How is rehearsal going? The poles sturdy enough Mami?"
"Everything's perfect, thank you boo."
Teyana replies taking a sip from her pretty much empty water bottle.
Looking over at the case it's practically done and it's only 7 girls.
"Y'all must need another case."
I said tugging at the empty side of the plastic bag
"Yes please but for later, those few will do for now."
"I have a better idea. How about you beautiful ladies take a break and unwind in the pool."
"I have tons of bathing suits from my music videos that have not been used if you'll like to use them of course."
"Nah I don't—"
Teyana begins to speak and her friend I believe Kimberly jumps in and says
"Where these bathing suits at? Quinn got them?"
"Yea Teyana let's take a break please girl"
Someone else responded pouting with her hands on her waist.
"Only for 1 hour and then we're back rehearsing alright."
"Sayless." A woman who looks like she could be transgender takes off her boots and runs down the stage.
"Well follow me then." I place my hand out and she grabs it in bliss.
"Teyana this open hand is for you my love"
I say teasing her.
"No thank you sweetheart" she responded with a sarcastic smile.
"Don't mind if I do." Another female takes my hand and we walk towards the pool.
I swing open a box and inform the ladies that they can choose anyone and if they want to keep it that's fine as well.
"I'll bring some champagne out for you all"
"One glass."
Teyana inputs.
"Master said one glass, my apologies."
I laugh doing a little bow.
"Quinn! Help me get these ladies some drinks"
I yell across the house.
"We outside today!"
Rubbing my hands together.
