Here's a special Christmas Edition one shot for yall! Heheh I'm not celebrating christmas but I mean, it aint wrong to be festive amiright? HAHA alright everyone, enjoy!

"You really cant make it?",

Loud shuffling was heard behind the line, and it wasn't long before Airi could hear the boy letting out a heavy sigh.

"No, I'm sorry. I'll try my best to be quick.", Shoto apologised, his tone laced with sadness.

Airi was dissapointed, but nevertheless, she tried her best to muster up the cheeriest tone when she replied,

"It's okay, you don't need to rush!"

"Airi! Come on! Everyone's already ready!", the familiar high pitched voice cuts through their call.

"Yeah, okay! Hold up-", she returned her attention back to the caller. "I have to go now, bye Shoto!"

"Bye, Airi. Enjoy the fireworks!"

Airi could feel her heart dropping in sorrow when she tapped the red button to end the call, her lips in a slight pout. It was their first ever Christmas Eve celebration as a couple, and knowing the fact Shoto couldn't make it because of his hero events had really broke her heart. Nonetheless, she tried to brush the dissapointment away by plastering the same grin on her lips as she raced herself out of the dorms.

She pushed the door open. "I'm sorry I'm late! I had to finish a call just now."

"It's fine!", Uraraka walked to her side, leaning nearer as the girl asked,

"Is Shoto coming?"

Airi tried her best to keep on the same grin on her lips when she shook her head lightly as a response to the girl's question. Uraraka jutted out her lower lip, but she immediately smiled when at the sight of Airi's joyful expression on her face and she replied,

"It's okay! You have us to celebrate with!"

Airi nodded, linking her arms with her friend. "That's right."

It was obviously unnoticeable to the others, but Airi was still dissapointed deep down in her heart. But she kept on plastering the same smile on her lips for as long as they made their way to the fireworks festival, an annual event which excited everyone in Japan, including Airi.

"Ooohhhh! Look! Gingerbread cookies!", Mina cooed, her eyes widening in surprise at the various of sizes and colours each and every cookie looked like on the table of the stall.

"I want that one!", Hagakure pointed at a specific cookie, which were decorated in a much more festive way than the others.

"Since its a special occasion, I'll buy each and everyone of you a cookie."

All of their heads snapped to look at the black haired girl, their eyes widening in shock at her offer. Airi blinked profusely in pure confusion, not exactly expecting the girl to be actually that generous, considering the price of each cookie was much higher than the normal price.

"Are you serious, Momo?", Airi asked again for confirmation, to which the girl merely shrugged her shoulders and nodded with a small smile on her lips.

The whole class cheered in excitement, racing towards the stall and grabbing their own cookie, whilst their vice president of the class watched them in amusement from the back. Airi waited for her classmates to settle down, since she wasn't really a fond of decorations on cookies, so she took any one of the cookies since they would obviously taste the same anyways.
