Ch. 22

-Karl's POV-

We were all talking during lunch it's was nice. When everyone was done Nick and his mom grabbed everyone's plates and did he dishes together. Me, his dad and sister sit in the living room "How was your trip to Oregon? I never got to ask"

"it was ok, it was kinda nice seeing old friends but I missed nick a lot and I couldn't stand another second with my mom" I glance at nick and his mom they back to his dad.

"Why's that?" He said with curiosity.

I shrugged a little "well she's homophobic so she gave a bit of crap about my relationship but she needs to realize that I'm an adult and I can make my own decisions"

Nick walks into the room and kisses my head "weird last time I checked you are a baby boy" he said with a small smirk.

"I can't tell if your being dirty or your just being silly" I mean he's not wrong I am HIS baby boy.

"A bit of both" we both broke into a chuckle while his dad shook his head and looked at the tv. A few minutes later we decided to go back home.

A day before Karl's birthday
-Nicks POV-

We had just finished dinner, we take care of the plates and wash them together. "Hey babe I need to go run some errands I'll be back ok" Karl nodded in response. I give him a kiss on the cheek and I headed to the store, not no ordinary store, a ring store. After a few minutes I found a perfect pair of rings for me and Karl. They were really expensive but worth it, I left the store and put the case in my pocket and started to head back home. I pull into the drive way and put the ring case in a safe spot where Karl won't find it.

"Babe I'm home!" No response, I shut the door and make my way upstairs and walk into the room to find him sound asleep in his gaming chair, he must have been playing something and passed out. I carefully pick him up and lay him on the bed and lay down with him.

An hour later (ik a lot of time skips)

He soon woke up, I was on my phone. "When did you get here?" He said half awake.

"Around an hour ago I think, I found you passed out in your chair" he nodded in response and sat up and rubbed his eyes.

"Jesus I can't believe I'm gonna be 20 tomorrow" he looked at me and I laughed a bit.

"You may be 20 and I might be 19 still but your still my forever baby boy" his went a by red and leaned down and gave me a kiss, he backed away a little and lightly grabbed my chin.

"And your my forever daddy even though I'm older"

"Getting dirty now?" I smirked a bit and we both laughed.

"Maybe" he said with a wink.

"Your trying to act dominate but your know damn well as soon as I get sexual with you, you become a blushing mess" he almost says something in argument but he doesn't. Instead he crosses his arms and looks away dramatically "upset".

"Awe baby I'm sorryy" I sat up and got close and hugged him. I started kissing his neck a bit and I felt Karl loosened up a bit and sunk in my arms.

"I love you" I bring my hands around his waist.

"I love you too" He starts playing with my hair.

Next day (it's currently 6am and I feel the need to get this through before I lose my mind, so please don't mind all the time skips)
-Karl's POV-

I woke up to the smell of breakfast and nick gone. I make my way downstairs and sees nick making breakfast and I get to the island and lean over it. "Morning babe"

"Goodmorning baby boy" he looks over his shoulder and smiles then goes back to what he's doing.

"What you making?"

"Breakfast for the birthday boy of course" I laughed a bit and sat on the stool next to the island. He soon severed me the food.

"Thank you"

"No problem, love" he leaned over the island and gave me a kiss and I started eating. "So I have a idea for today for your birthday because I have a huge surprise for you" I nodded.

"What are those ideas?" I look up from my food to look at him.

"Well I was planning on taking you to a nice view of a area and taking you for dinner and a different surprise for you after dinner" two surprises today, honk yeah! "When your done with your food get ready, but still take your time we don't need to rush anything" I nodded taking a bite out of bacon (I guess technoblade does die)

When I finished my food I took care of my plate and went upstairs and got changed. When I was finished we got into the car and nick started looking nervous which confused me. He got to this field of flowers which were gorgeous, I got out the car and started running around and looking at flowers then nick soon followed. He grabbed my hand and we started walking around.

-Nicks POV-

We were walking and I was trying to find a good moment to ask him but I couldn't do it. I look down to see my one of my shoes untied, perfect opportunity. "One sec babe I need to tie my shoe" we stop and I let go of his hand and get down on my knee to tie my shoe but when I did I grabbed the ring box and turned to him.

"Karl Jacobs, will you make me the happiest man on earth and marry me?"

Hehe cliffhanger, this chapter was really dry at first but I needed to get it done.
