Looking over at Mosskit, you ask, "Mosskit, can you help me over to the medicine cat den?"

Mosskit fidgets uncomfortably. "I...Um...Yeah, I guess." Mosskit pads over and lets you lean onto her. As she leads you away you glance back at Sparkkit, he looked...Hurt. You look back away, your ears feeling like they were being burnt by the sun, but Mosskit was nice.

When you made it over to the medicine cat den, Mosskit hesitated at the entrance. "Y-you go in, I'll just wait out here." As you walk inside, you glance back at Mosskit, who seems very uncomfortable.

"Um...Mistyflame? Are you here?" You call out.

A shuffling noise comes from the back of the den as you limp in. You pause, wondering if the sound is the medicine cat. A silvery cat pushes her way through a curtain of drooping ferns at the back of the den. "Oh hello, Y/N! Something wrong?" Mistyflame asks, walking over to you. As you take in Mistyflame's appearance, you notice her left, front leg just drags across the ground, useless, dead. A shudder goes down your spine as you look at it, wondering what did that to her.

"I, um, I jumped up while we were playing mossball and I landed funny," I meowed.

Mistyflame sniffed you over curiously. "I don't think there's any major damage done--" Mistyflame paused, noticing Mosskit standing at the entrance of the den. "Oh, hello Mosskit, don't be shy. Come on in!"

Mosskit shuffles her paws before cautiously walking in. You can't help but wonder why she doesn't want to be here.

"You may as well get comfortable here!" Mistyflame meowed cheerily, gesturing at a soft patch of dirt, but you can't help but feel there's a double meaning. Mosskit mews a quiet thanks and sits down. "Well, Y/N, I think nothing's hurt, but some juniper berries might do you some good. They help with shock. Mosskit, could you grab some? They're small, blueish-purplish, berries."

Mosskit sighed and walked into the area hidden by the ferns.

"She can't see the berries you know, she's blind!" You meow. "Why didn't you just grab them?"

Mistyflame sighed. "It's good for her. She can feel them."

You sit there quietly, tapping your tail on the stone floor. Mosskit hurried back out a while later with red berries in her mouth. She spits them onto the ground roughly. "These?"

With a sigh, Mistyflame stood up. "No! Those are holly berries, they're poisonous! How did they get in here?" She flicked the berries at Mosskit. "Take those out of the den. I'll grab the juniper."

Mosskit trotted out of the den victoriously. That's when you realized, she was the one who had brought them in! Clever. Mistyflame walked back out carrying a few blue berries.

"Eat these, and then leave please, I need to sort through my supplies and make sure there's nothing else like holly berries back there."

You nod and quickly eat the sour berries. "Can I keep playing?"

Mistyflame shakes her head. "No, you need to rest for a bit."

You sigh and walk out of the den, your legs are already feeling much better. When you look around the camp, you notice that Mosskit was nowhere to be seen. Sparkkit spotted you and hurried over.

"Y/N, are you alright?" Sparkkit asks.

You nod. "Yeah, I'm fine. Mistyflame told me I need to rest though."

Sparkkit nodded. "That sounds smart. I'll grab you something to eat since you didn't eat earlier."
