"I'm never drinking again." Hope moaned, curled up in bed with an empty Tupperware bowl.
"Yep, and I'm joining a nunnery." I said sarcastically, Hope squinted at me.
"Sorry, I thought we were just saying things that are never going to fucking happen." I said. Hope rolled her eyes and clutched onto the bowl. "You know Mom is gonna kill you for using her good Tupperware as a vomit bowl, right?"
"At this point, I don't really care." Hope groaned. "Did I really run around the street knocking on everyone's doors claiming to be Beyoncé?"
"Yes, it was one of the funniest things I've ever seen, you should ask Chad for the video later."
"Oh, God. You filmed it?"
"Hey, you filmed me getting my ass beat by Azealia. You owed me a funny video." I laughed. Hope slowly sat up and put her head in her hands.
"Don't you think your boyfriend will be a little pissed to know you were out literally painting the town red with Chad?"
"No...but HYPOTHETICALLY, if he were to be a little pissed off, which part would he be the maddest at, the vandalism or the fact it was with Chad?"
"Probably both."
"Well, I don't think he'd be mad. He knows Chad is my best friend, he can't get mad at me hanging with my friend."
"Yeah, but the friend IS Chad. I'm just saying, maybe be careful. And besides, if you have to ASK whether or not he'd be pissed off, you clearly think he'd have a problem with it." Hope pointed out. I brushed her off, why can't a girl and a guy be platonic friends without worrying about pissing off the girl's boyfriend?
"Speaking of my BOYFRIEND, Hope, I'm going over to his in an hour, wanna come with? I feel like you could use the fresh air."
"I don't need fresh air, I need sleep."
"Baby, you need a SHOWER more than anything else."

Over at Ryan's house, Hope started admiring the rows of trophies on the shelf.
"You've won a lot of things, huh?" she said, reaching out to touch one. I grabbed her arm and pushed it away from the trophy shelf.
"Don't break any of them. Or throw up in any of them." I whispered in her ear.
"No promises." She whispered back, fixing her sunglasses. I turned to face Ryan.
"Sorry, I forced her to come with. How's Nicole?"
"She's good. I've got to go meet Mom and Dad at the hospital to pick her up though, so I kinda have a favor to ask you." he clasped his hands together.
"Which is?"
"Stay here, wait for me, and make sure that Cleo doesn't burn the house down or something?"
"Ryan..."
"Please, I swear I'll only be gone for... two to three hours." he looked at me apologetically. Two to three hours looking after his emo sister while trying to keep my own sister from vomiting everywhere. Great.
"I don't know, I really wanna-" I began, but I was interrupted by Ryan planting a kiss on my lips. After he broke the kiss, he looked deeply into my eyes.
"Please?" he said quietly. Eh, I couldn't say no to THAT face.
"Fine... bring me back a McDonald's."
