•Chapter 25- Surpise!•

Chapter Twenty-Five

Gumball's Pov

"Gumball, we have been together for only six months, but have been in love for years. I have never loved someone as much as I loved you..." He pulled a small box out of his pocket. "Even though we haven't been together for long, It has felt like forever. You are the most special thing in my undead life. Bonnibelo, will you marry me?"

Tears went down my face "Yes! Yes!" I screamed as I hugged him, nearly lifting him off the ground, he chuckled as I let go of him. he grabbed my hand and gently placed the ring on my finger. It was just a simple gold brand with the engravemet "Undead Love." "Happy Six Month anniversary babe." "Happy anniversary Marshall."

We left after hugging for what felt like hours. and enter our room through the window. I led him to the bed. "Stay here." I went up to my study for my notebook. I came back and he was laying on the bed shirtless.

I blushed a little, and gave him the notebook. "What's this? Your diary?" I giggled and blushed. "No! Marshall I need to tell you something." "Go on." "Ever since I visited the orphanage for the first time, I really wanted to have children. I knew they may not be from my DNA, especially with us, but I may have solution for that." I flipped open the notebook to the page of about my plan.

"What is it?" "A machine, it modifies one of our.... sperm, into a embryo egg. We could have our own children some day!" "Oh my Glob Bubba! But what did you mean by someday?" "Well... it's still an idea. I still need parts and all. And I also need to construct somewhere to put the fertilized eggs. I may also make it so it can do the opposite for females as well. And I think we should wait a while any ways before we kiss all our free time away to have a little one to take care of."

"Yea your right. I'm not sure if I would be a good fa-" "Of Course you would Marshall! You'll be the best dad this kid could have!" I yelled at him. "You... You really think so?" "I know so." I don't remember much after that, but I do know it calmed his nerves, and it took away a little stress.

I woke up and quickly got ready for the day. Pepper had just made breakfast and was just about to walk out. "So... are you?" "Yes Pepper. I truly love him." "I know you do prince. It's just hard to see you grow up. I still remember when you just a toddler and now, oh what's that saying? 'They grow up so fast.' You'll understand if you create that machine of yours and have children too."

"I know Pepper, but when is the right time? And once we have a child, will we be able to do the same things we once did? Pepper I'm scared that-" "Don't worry prince! You'll now when you're ready. You may not be able to the same things at the beginning, but eventually you will. Its normal to be scared. Every loving parent is at first. And I know you and Marshall will be perfect parents, so don't worry about it!"

"Thank you Pepper, I needed some comfort." "Your welcome Prince." She left to do some cleaning. Marshall came in and ate breakfast with me. We didn't talk while we eat, but we held hands under the table. After breakfast I decided to go back to the lab again. Really need to pick of the pace on my projects.

So for ten hours I spent working on all projects, three to be exact. and taking a half an hour beak for lunch with Marshall. I finished two of the three projects. I need to deliver one to Flame Prince. And another to someone I never heard of. His name is Nate. He told me to deliver it near the wastelands. I don't know if I trust him, so Marshall's coming with me. I'll be hand-delivering them tomorrow. For now I need a nap, so I floated above my bed, and went to sleep.

Marshall's POV

I decided to go to my mom's today, even though I really don't like her as much as I should, but she deserves it. I opened the portal and stepped in. I came in at her front door. I knocked on it. "Who is it?" She said annoyed. I don't blame her there's so many people that come her and beg for worthless things. "It's me... Marshall."

"Marshall?" I heard footsteps near the door. She opened the door, and pulled me in. She hugged me and kissed my cheek. "Oh Marshall, I never thought I would see you again!" She squealed. "Umm yeah." She released me and led me to the kitchen. "So why you hear. To take over the family business?" She wishes. "No, I'm here... I'm here to." Why can't I say it. "Marshall... please tell me." "I'm here to say... I'm in love." "Oh Marshall! That's wonderfully. Tell me who's the lucky guy."

"It's... wait, did you just say guy?" "Honey, it's obvious. You would be this shy if this was a girl." "Oh... Well you're right. It a guy, a prince." "Oh! Which one!" "Prince G-gumball." "Wow. Never thought you would love him. I thought he was too innocent for you." I chuckled "I thought was too, but I think I've changed that." She laughed. "So, how long have you two been together?"

"Six months now, and I kinda proposed to him last night." "What? Don't you think it's a little early in the relationship for that?" "I guess it might be, but he did say yes, so that means something. We're already thinking about have children. And there's one more thing I need to tell you."

"Well what is it?" I told her about the night I found him, and how I turned him. "Was it your absolute last resort?" "Yes. He was literal dying in my arms. I thought I would loose him. I thought it was too late. The three days he was out I thought I lost him. I thought I was sleeping next to a corpse. It was tense thing since the war. When he woke up, I swear I felt my heart beat mom. I soon realized I loved him and for quite a while. And he loved me back and his kingdom loves me. Now seems to be the time to be engaged. We're think about getting married in a few years but things change." "You really love him don't you?" "Yes. I even got his blessing from his maid who practically is his mom."

"Well, can I meet him?" "Sure, if you don't embarrass me." "Maybe I will, maybe I won't. Maybe in a couple weeks." "Sounds okay. how
About on Sunday in three weeks?" "I'll be there." "Alright, I gotta go." "I know, you better get back to that prince of yours." "Okay, bye!" "Goodbye dear." With that I left and opened the portal again. I was next to my bed and with my sleeping fiancé on top. I smiled and cuddled next to him. I didn't fall asleep, just listened to his snoring and stroked his hair until he woke up.

"Hey baby." I said grinning "Hey." He said with a morning, or nap, voice. "How was that nap of yours?" "Perfect with you here." "Did you get anything done?" "Yea actually, two of the three projects. Now we have to deliver them." "What do you mean we?" We'll the first one to the Fire Kingdom, then to some person who lives near a wasteland. I don't really trust him since he wrote to me by letter, so I want you to come with me." "Okay, nothing going to hurt my bæ."
"Okay, and what's bæ mean?"
