Back on Sodor, the steam engines and their partners were doing their best to not be bullied by Diesel and his friends. Only James, who now felt really useful, was complaining. "James," said Alice, "What's wrong?" "I should've collected Mr. Conductor," said James. "And why is that?" asked Elsa. "Well," said Gordon, "James is right, little Thomas. Collecting Mr. Conductor is an important job. Important is big! James is a big engine, Hm? You Thomas are small. Small, small, small, teeny einey weeny. And I, I'm a big blue engine, who knows everything!" "HEY!" shouted Anna, "That was just rude!" "Yeah," said Rapunzel, "No wonder Sir Topham Hat give the important jobs to the smaller engines." "As much as I hate to agree with them Gordon," said Jack Frost, "I'm afraid that they have a point. You big engines are just stuck up in your egos." Thomas was still cross at what was just said. "Bossy sprockets!" he mumbled, as he shunted trucks, "All that steam has gone to your funnel!" "Thomas," said Elsa, "just ignore them."
At the other side of the yard, Splatter, Dodge, Ned and Zed were watching the engines and their friends. "There they are," said Splatter. "We'll fix their wagons," said Splatter. "Can you fix a wagon?" asked Ned. "It's just a phrase you idiot," said Zed. "I'm not good at backing down," said Splatter. "Me neither," replied Dodge.
"What's important now is that we stand up on our own wheels and legs to Diesel," said Toby. "Toby's right," said Henry, "Diesel knows that lost engine in the legend, really exists." "What engine?" asked Mater. "What legend?" asked Percy. "Of an engine who's magic makes her more powerful than Diesel will ever be!" said Edward, "That's why he wants to destroy her." "What he doesn't know," said Lightning, "Is that if the engine is destroyed, it could make destroy our entire universe. The Conductor's universe." "Then we'd better find her first!" said Percy. "I'll do a scout from the skies," said Dusty. "Leave the searching to the big engines Percy," said James.
"Little engines can do big things," said Thomas, "Especially when they have bright blue paint, like me!" "Oh course you can Thomas," said Bendy, "With friends, the only limit is the sky!"
"Hey guys," said Dodge, "Watch what happens." "When Harold the Flopper Chopper comes by," continued Splatter. Just then, Harold the Helicopter came by and said "Routine Fly Chaps, Hello!" "The boss dumped sneezing powder everywhere!" laughed Splatter. The four vehicles laughed until they themselves were covered with sneezing powder. "Uh did you mean to look like that?" asked Splatter. "Um, no," said Dodge. "None of us did," said Zed. "This must be Diesel's doing!" said Thomas. He was then sneezing with Elsa and Bendy in his cab.
At Knapford, Mr. Conductor was reading the note Sir Topham Hat left him. "Dear Mr. Conductor," he read, "Where were you? My wife said that we couldn't miss our little holiday. We'll telephone to make sure you have arrived. Signed, Sir Topham Hat." Mr. Conductor then whispered the name again, before trying on the Fat Controller's hat. Just then, the phone rang. "Hello?" said Mr. Conductor into the phone. On the other end was none other than, Sir Topham Hat himself. "Oh, good after noon sir.... A real honor sir, like my family before me.... And how is Miss Lady Hat?..... Yes watch out for Diesel 10 sir...... Keep an eye on Henry's health..... Yes sir, the three R's, Reading, Writing, and Ar....., I will be Responsible, Reliable, and Really Useful. Yes sir. We'll all be sure to get a good night's sleep." Mr. Conductor then hung up and sighed.
