XIX (end)

Luthuis joined Claude in the other world to see if everything was going as planned, while Katherine was still unconscious in her room, Nanny told me to take a bath and rest and that she will take care of Katherine. 

I slept for a couple of hours, and when I woke up I felt a gentle hand on my head caressing it, I turned around and saw Luthuis laying down beside me, his angelic features looked more dazzling this particular day under the moonlight.

-"How are you feeling now Lia?" I just closed my eyes and nodded, suddenly he stopped caressing me and I felt betrayed, when i reopened my eyes he had a sad expression on his face.

-"Luthui-..."

-"Liadan this morning, did you really mean it?" he is talking about what happened this morning, when I said that I regret meeting him...

-"No, I didn't... I just thought that you will leave me for her... I was scared, I was frightened... I-I ..."

-"Liadan I love you more than you can imagine... how many times should I tell you this so you can finally trust in me and in my feelings towards you? What do you want me to do so that you will never doubt me ever again?" I could hear it in his voice and see on his face how hurt he was, I felt so bad, I wished I could go back in time and never say that... I wish I didn't think about that at all, I felt like I betrayed him.

-"I am very sorry Luthuis, I know that you love me... I really do know that and I'm sure of it, but at that moment, and when you let go of my hand I thought that all your feelings for Aurora were back... " 

Luth got up really fast and wore his vest back on, he reached his hand out to me, I took it but I was really confused.

-"What are you doing?"

-"I'm going to kill Aurora myself as a proof of me getting completely over her"

-"No Luthuis, you don't have to go this far for me... I am sure of your feelings for me now and I will never question them ever again"

-"No Liadan I have to do this, she will die anyways and I will do it for you"

-"I can't let you, at some point of your life you loved that women... why would you go this far for me? why would you love me? I was always selfish and I even used you to take revenge on Kath... I always took from you and asked for your help, but I never gave you anything... and now you are willing to do this for me... I can't let you do it Luthuis, I'm not worth it" 

I fell on the ground crying, I hated myself for doubting him and for being selfish... 

-"You can use me Liadan I allow you to, I knew your plan from the beginning and I wanted to play along with you because I found you entretaining, i was the selfish one... the day of the ball you catched my eyes with your graceful and delicate beauty, when I looked into your eyes I felt for the first time after years warm and peaceful, I wanted you by my side, I was so selfish that I brought you against your will to the palace and made you suffer... I Loved how clumsy and how cute your reactions were when I was around, that's why I called for you a lot, I knew that rumors would go around and you will be the one getting hurt from them, but I still called for you because i am selfish... I am the one who isn't worth it Liadan... so i'm ready to give you everything, I would be beyond happy to be used by you... so please don't cry anymore" 

I jumped on him and hugged him, he let out a giggle and hugged me back while spinning me around, we pulled back and looked at each other eyes.

-"I love you" we both said at the same time.

In the poor light of the moon I could see his sparkling eyes who looked at my lips with desire, he inclined his face towards mine and as he was getting closer I can feel his heavy breaths touching my face. I could feel his body getting warmer from my hand that touched the back of his neck, and with the other hand I could feel his heartbeat getting faster and mine were matching his. Our noses touched and he stopped moving, I wanted his lips on mine with each passing second but it never happened, a smirk formed in his face and from his eyes I knew that he was teasing me, a part of me wanted to play along but I couldn't handle it any longer and I smacked my lips on his. 

Time seemed to stop and I could only focus on how soft he felt against my mouth, and how addictive his kisses were, my legs got weaker as my heart was pounding inside of my chest, my fingers slipped in his shiny black hair and pulled it, Luthuis pulled back with a smirk. his eyes looked more hungry than before, and he pulled me in claiming my mouth again, this kiss was more intense and deep that my knees gave in, Luthuis picked me up and walked us to the bed, he threw me on it before getting on top we maintained a long eye contact...

It's already been a few months now, Katherine got married to the prince Alexander who became the King, he was surprisingly a wise and nice one too, Katherine with now the curse gone is the sweetest person ever and everyone loved her now for her great personnality.

The diary of my father disappeared after his last message:                                                                        'You won't need me anymore Liadan, thank you for saving your sister and taking care of her.           we love you'

As for Luthuis and me, we are living a happy, peaceful, quiet life in the little house on the moutains with Blue. 

I woke up very early that morning and watched the sunrise while stretching my wings, I flew high in the sky and took a deep breath, the refreshing wind hitting my cheeks and and brushing away my hair made me feel so much better and energetic. I went back to the house to prepare breakfast, and as I was doing so Luthuis's arms wrapped me from behind and he put his chin on my shoulder while swinging.

-"Good morning Beautiful"

-"Good morning Luth, did you sleep well?"

-"Yes I did, did the little guy woke you up this morning too?"

-"we are not sure if it's a girl or a boy" Luthuis put a hand on my stomach and kissed it

-"I have a feeling that it's a boy...Take good care of your mother and don't kick her too hard, or you'll have to face me once you're out" 

The thing that I learned from my life is that everything happens for a reason, and after the storm, a shiny day is waiting for you... But it all depends on your choices.
