Kathe gave me a small room like I was expecting, I started unpacking my things when someone knocked on the door, it was a little beautiful girl.

"Lady Liadan I'm your new maid my name is Elizabeth " she bowed at me, at least Kath thought of giving me a maid, but this one was too young and she looked very stressed, afraid and unexperienced.

"Elizabeth a beautiful name for a beautiful girl " she reminds me of myself when i was her age i used to blush a lot too.

"Eli call me Liadan , i will be like your older sister we both work here now" she widned her eyes

"is it alright if i call you by your name my lady ?"

"yes of course Eli try calling me Liadan "

"Liadan ... " she said smiling happily so adorable, I will use this opportunity to ask this little child how things work in the palace, I need the slightest details to make a perfect plan.

The empress is responsable for the Palace's interior buisness, assigning maids and servants for each person and what the people working here should do, she also organise the balls and the tea parties ... and welcoming the visitors and taking care of them, she have the power to do anything she wants inside of the palace, and apparently she likes Kathe, and since she likes her I would guess that both of them have the same personality, this is not a good start.

I told Eli that she doesn't have to serve me, and I will call her whenever I need her, I don't trust this child, she could let anything she sees or hear in my room out with just a little food or money. 

i was getting ready to take a bath but one of the assistants told me that kath wanted to see me , i didn't see any guards or maids at the door of her room so I just got in. To my surprise, Luthuis was there as well and she was acting so lovey dovey to him, she kissed him but he didn't return it back he was annoyed instead, His gaze fell on me and walked away from her.

"Lady Katherine , your majesty " i bowd slightly at them "my lady you asked to see me?"

" i did ? i apologize i don't remember i was busy with Luthius " she was touching his chest while smiling but he pushed her hands.

"i can see that, i apologize for interrupting you , goodnight my lady ...your majesty " i bowed again and left the room quickly .

The next day i was standing with the other assistants in Kath chambers, they were so nice to me and i felt that they don't like Kath.

" Miss Liadan are you younger than Lady Katherine " i chuckeled when i saw Kath's angry face 

"no i'm one year older than Lady Katherine " 

" Lady Katherine I saw his majesty going to your room last night " Janette said she was the same assistant that called me last night, it was a trap for me. All the other assistants were interested now they wanted to know more

" oh yes ! i was surprised i didn't know that his majesty was coming, we were busy when miss liadan came in i was so embarassed" she wanted me to look bad for interrupting them but i won't let her do it this time .

" yes i really apologise for that lady Katherine, miss Janette told me yesterday that you wanted to see me you probably forgot about that i didn't know that his majesty was there " Janette blushed, i left them explaining the situation while i excused myself i wanted to discover the palace.

I was walking in the long hallways when I saw a big door, it looked like a library's door i opened it and couldn't stop myself from letting a big "wooow" out of my mouth, all the rare and old books were in this library, I walked between the shelfs while trying to process all the amazing books in front of me, it felt like a dream. A black book caught my attention it was in a higher shelf that i couldn't reach, i felt a body behind me and i saw an arm reaching for the book .
