-"What's wrong Katherine? why did you want to see me?"

-"You bitch, I'm lady Katherine ... I'll be the queen soon, what did you do to Luthuis? Why was he so angry today?"

-"I didn't do anything LADY katherine" She took a vase and throw it beside me, a piece of it flew and scratched my arm, I looked at her with a 'how dare you face'.

-"You deserve more than that, you deserve to die... You ruined my life"

-"I ruined your life? I DID? you are shameless, you are the one who slept with the guy who was going to marry me, but I didn't"

-"Liar... why does he asks to see you every day? don't make me laugh with your chess excuses, I know that you don't play it... He is always in a good mood after meeting you, what did you do? how can he like an ygly bitch like you?"

-"You are so funny Katherine, you think that I'm as cheap as you, to sleep with my sister's future husband? I wasn't raised like that..."

-"Are you insulting me now?" She was walking slowly towards me, her eyes turned red, her demon side! is she planning to hurt me? I felt that I was in real danger, I don't know what that sensation was but it told me to run, it was too late she was too close to me. I closed my eyes when she raised her arm to the sky, I waited for it to happen, I was waiting for a slap, a grif, or for me to loose my life... but nothing happened, I opened my eyes and saw Luthuis holding her arm, her eyes turned to their real color, her anger was replaced by fear, Luthuis turned towards me and looked up and down to check on me. His eyes stopped on my bleeding arm, his grip tightened on Kathe's arm, she was crying in pain but he didn't stop.

-"You highness, please you are hurting her" I looked at his eyes to convince him, he let her go and faced me, he grabbed my arm and walked us out of the room, the other servants were looking at us surprised.

-"What are you doing Luthuis? let me go" I tried to free my arm, but he ended up picking me up bridal style.

-"Did you go mad? Put me down, someone may see us"

-"Yes, I'm crazy for you Liadan" I hid my face against his chest, I didn't want anyone to recognise me, I felt his heart beating very fast, and his breathing was getting heavier, am I that heavy? I looked up at him and saw that his face was all read, is he okay?

-"Umm L-Luthuis put me down, I'm heavy" He was surprised at first, but he smiled softly at me.

-"No you are not, what made you say that ?"

-"You are breathing heavily and your face is red... I thought you had a hard time picking me" His face was more red now, and he started walking faster to I don't kow where, my room is not this way. We arrived at a big door, it was his room, he asked me to open the door because his hands were busy, he made me sit on the bed and brought a tissue and water.

-"Why did you bring me here? I can take care of this on my own"He ignored me and started cleaning the wound, he was so gentle doing it, he looked like he won't harm a fly but I don't understand why is Katherine so scared of him. I know he is mean and cold, but the way she looks at him is like he is way more dangerous than that, I didn't realise he was looking at me as well, he caressed my cheeck and I smiled unconsciously at it.

-"I missed you a lot Liadan" I turned my face away from him, he grabbed mu chin and made me look at his eyes, they held a lot of emotions sadness, anger and happiness.

-"Liadan, if I had a choice I would've left your sister and married you... but I can't"

-"What do you mean by you can't ?"

-"I wish I was able to tell you, but I don't want to put you in danger... Just know that I'm doing this to protect you and everyone you care about" He leaned towards me and kissed my forehead, I knew that even if I insisted he won't tell me what he means by protecting me.

I was back in my room, I opened it and saw Claude walking in rounds in my room, as soon as he saw me he ran to me.

-"Liadan what happened ? are you okay? I sent Katherine activated her powers... did she hurt you?"

-"She was about to, but Luthuis... I m-mean his highness rescued me at the last moment"

-"What happened to your arm?"

-"Nothing" He looked at me insisting

-"Katherine threw a vase and a piece of it touched me"

-"let me heal it for you"

-"No people will get suspicious, it doesn't hurt anyways... Claude do you still want to use the red key?" He sat on the bed and looked down thinking deeply, I sat beside him and waited for his answer.

-"We wanted to destroy Angels at first, but we discovered that humans were the reason why the angels attacked us..."

-"What ? How?"

-"We don't know the how exactly, I became the king to make researchers about this... A human was able to enter our world, and he stole a very important item for angels and they blamed us for it, we won't forgive them for killing and destroying our cities and families, and we won't forgive humans as well"

-"But not all humans are bad, Claude we can find peace please, revenge is not the solution... You won't feel satisfied after destroying them"

-"So what should I do?"

-"We will find a solution just believe in me Okay ?" He was hesitating, I need to convince him, I held his hand and smiled softly at him to reassure him.

-"Liadan, if you keep smiling at me like this I might do something..." I let go of his hands and looked away immediately, he grabbed my hand, kissed it and wished me a good night.
