"Hey," someone whispered and a warm hand was placed on my back between my shoulder blades. I whined tiredly and turned around in bed. I opened my eyes seeing Damon bowing over me.

"What?" I whined.

"It's Christmas morning." He said. "Stefan's making you breakfast. Are you coming?"

I nodded a little and got out of bed, got dressed in my Christmas pajamas and walked to Damon, who wrapped his arm around me and kissed my forehead.

"You look tired," he said.

"I am tired," I mumbled and walked into the kitchen where Stefan was cooking. I hugged him from behind and he smiled and kissed me.

"Merry Christmas," he said and turned his attention back to the food. He handed me a plate with my breakfast. I thanked him and ate him. I wasn't very hungry, but I loved Stefan's food and I would always eat anything he made for me.

"You guys wanna open up some gifts?" Damon asked. We both nodded and headed to the living room, where multiple gifts were laying under the tree. Damon took one out.

"To Stefan from Luna," he said and handed it to Stefan. Stefan opened it. I had gotten him a little pack of red pills and a new journal.

"I'm not sure if those pills have any affect, but a witch said that it would help with the blood lust, so I thought that it was worth a shot. And then the journal is because it's almost 2021, and you've almost filled out your old journal." I said. He nodded with appreciation and said thank you.

Damon handed a little jewelry box to me. I looked at him.

"It's from me," He said. I opened it up and there was a ring in it.

"It was my mother's. Before she died, she said that she wanted me to propose with it when the time came. But seeming that I've gone 180 years without getting anywhere near a marriage, I thought it was time to pass it on to someone important to me."

"Thank you," I said and put the ring on my finger. It was a bit too small, but with a little pressure, I put it on.

Damon gave Stefan a vintage sports bag and a football ball. I gave Damon a very good and expensive bourbon, and Stefan gave me some papers, which I started to read.

"It's a scholarship," He said quickly. "I know it's far ahead, but you've talked about going to Italy for more than just a field trip for a while. Damon and I have family there, so I talked to them, and they'd like to be your host family on your year abroad, if you want to after our graduation. However, it's returnable if you decide not to go."

"I love it." I said and looked at him. He seemed relieved. "I'll let you know what I decide later in life."

He smiled and nodded a little.

"Well, I guess that was it?" I said and stood up.

"Yeah. Just one more thing," Damon said and started walking. Stefan mentioned for me to follow, do I did. Damon led me to the garage, where there was a car covered with a blanket with a little bow on top. Damon pulled off the blanket to reveal a white Mercedes, nothing too fancy, just as I liked it.

"That's from me and Stefan." He said. Stefan handed me the keys and a driver's license.

"And we compelled you that one." He chuckled and pointed at the license. They both told me to try out the car and so I did. I have to admit, it felt amazing to have your own car.

"Thank you, guys. This is really amazing." I smiled as I came back.

"No problem," both brothers said at the same time and I laughed.

All of December I had been wondering whether this day was gonna be a day, where I would lay on my bed and cry all day, but the brothers never let it come so far. We were family now.
