Monday was supposed to be another show rehearsal, but our show coordinator and drama teacher never showed up to class. So a bunch of extremely tired students including myself, were allowed to leave after 20 minutes. I went straight home, threw myself on Stefan's bed and got some much needed sleep.

He came home after another half hour and laid next to me. I smiled as he kissed my shoulder.

"Hey," he whispered.

"Hey," I responded with a smile.

"Tough day?" he asked.

"Rough night might be a better word, since nothing has really happened today." I chuckled. "I didn't really sleep so good last night."

"Why not?"

I shrugged and got up.

"Where are you going?" he asked.

"I'm gonna go grab some lunch. I'm starving."

Stefan accompanied me on my way to the sandwich shop, which I chose over the grill every now and then. I loved the grill but it was overpriced. Not that money really mattered anyways when dating a Salvatore.

"Mhm," I moaned as I took a bite of my sandwich. "This is so good."

Stefan laughed and took my hand.

"Where would you like to go princess?" He asked.

"Home." I chuckled. "It's too cold to be outside."

And so we went home, snuggled up on the couch and made out to the somewhat distant sounds of the news reporter talking on the TV. Stefan broke the kiss and his facial expression told me that something was wrong. His gaze was hard on the television.

"That's our teacher." He said quietly and my head shot towards the TV. They were filming from the woods where police was working. The news reporter was telling about how an animal killed the drama teacher from Mystic Falls High School.

"Vampires?" I asked and looked at him. He shook his head.

"Damon, Caroline and I are the only vampires in Mystic Falls right now, so it can't be." He said thoughtfully. "But there's no way that an animal would do that."

I got up from the couch, going to the entry to put on my jacket.

"Where are you going?" Stefan asked.

"We both know that you didn't do it. Caroline never feeds on people and she wouldn't lose control and kill someone." I said. "I'm gonna find Damon."

"It would make sense if he was the one who did it," Stefan said. "He's been edgy since December started. Killing someone wouldn't be surprising."

I shrugged and went out the door. Jogged to the grill, where Damon would spend most his afternoons drinking out his braincells. And just as expected, he was at the bar all by himself.

I took a seat beside him and looked at him. He avoided my gaze and just sipped his bourbon.

"Did you do it?" I asked still shocked that he would do such a thing.

"Am I wearing my I-killed-the-high-school-drama-teacher-shirt? Why do everyone keep asking me that?"

It wasn't exactly a no.

"Did you?" I asked. Annoyed that I had to pressure him into telling me something.

"No!" He said. Just as annoyed. He sipped his bourbon and I observed his face trying to figure out whether he told me the truth or not.

"Anything else, Little Miss Detective?" He asked.

"If you didn't do it, then who?" I asked. "It wasn't you, it wasn't Stefan and it wasn't Caroline."

"And it wasn't a vampire, so drop it," Damon argued.

"Stefan said it was."

"Oh and Stefan is always right, isn't he?" Damon laughed sarcastically. He finished the drink. Slapped a bill on the table and left the grill, making me rush after him.

"Just tell me the truth, Damon!" I yelled, trying to keep up with him.

"You think I'm lying to you? I. Did. Not. Do. It. How can you not get that into your brain?!" I was pissing him off. I knew that. And I hated it.

"You're the only person who would do such a thing!" I argued.

"What do you want me to say, Luna? That I killed your teacher? I didn't!"

And then he was gone. In a flash. One moment he was there, the next he wasn't. I breathed out and tears started rolling down my cheeks. Soon I was a sobbing mess, trying to gather myself before leaving the town square.

When I was finally done crying, I went home.

"How'd it go?" Stefan asked, watching me from the doorway to my room.

"He said that he didn't do it," I said and didn't look at him.

"Do you believe him?" He asked.

I shrugged.

"I don't know anymore."

Then silence for a while.

"Well, are you coming to sleep?" He then asked. I shook my head.

"I'll stay here tonight."
