"And that's why I don't trust hobos that eat rats on the street anymore," Carly sighed after telling her summer vacation story. "Now, tell me what happened to you."
Freddie groaned as he closed his locker door, "It's horrible, you don't want to hear it."
Carly leaned against her locker. "Aw, come on, the parents-children camp couldn't be that bad."
He lifted his shirt sleeves and showed Carly a scar.
"Woah, what animal bit you?" Carly grabbed Freddie's arm and observed it.
"Pfft, it's not an animal. It's a human being."
"A kid?" Carly guessed.
"Nope, their dad."
Carly winced sympathetically, "Ouch..."
Sam exclaimed as she walked towards the two. "Oooh, Carly and Freddie, holding hands, huh?"
"No, we're not, silly," Carly shook her head. "Look at this."
Without a warning, she shoved Freddie's hand upon Sam's face.
Freddie quickly hide his hand from the blonde to protect it, "No, don't show her my hand, she'll—"
You, who just walked past them, interfered, "Hey Freddie, Sam, Carly."
"Oh, hey Y/n," Freddie greeted you.
Carly replied with a warm hello, while Sam only with a brief hi.
"I wanted to return this," you said as you hand Freddie the books in your hand. "Thank you for lending me your notes."
"No big deal." he gave you a cheeky smile as he checked every book you've returned.
He stopped when his hands meet a magazine you have slipped in earlier. He holds it up and glanced at you, gesturing his confusion.
"Oh, that. I thought you'd like it," you told him.
He looked at the magazine, flipping it back and forth. He was in awe when he recognized the magazine cover, "Woah, Techno limited edition magazine???"
"Mhm! Hope you'll like it," you chuckled, satisfied with his reaction. "I'll see you guys around."
"Bye." Carly and Sam waved to you as you walked away.
"Thanks!" Freddie yelled before you got too far.
"It's no big deal!" you shouted back before walking into your first class of the day.
"It is a big deal," Freddie muttered as he glances at the magazine.
Sam and Carly clear their throats to tease Freddie when you're out of sight.
