And... Done! You have finished your assignment and all you have to do now is to submit all your work!

You hovered your mouse to the submit button, and that's when the laptop betrayed you.

It crashed and showed you the infamous blue screen.

You stared at it in disbelief, and it didn't take long for tears to stream down your face.

Uncontrollably sobbing and shaking, you reached for your phone and call for the person who come first to your mind.

"Hello?" her soft voice relaxed you a bit although it didn't stop you from bawling your eyes out.

She gasped, hearing your cries, "Y/n, are you okay?!"

You shook your head even though you know she can't see you, "Please, come... Hurry..."

"Alright, hang on there, I'll be there soon," she hung up.

You nodded and stared at the blue screen again in resentment.

"Y/n!" Melanie burst into your dorm room. " What happened? Are you okay?"

You gave her a hollow stare and pointed at the stupid blue screen of death.

Melanie immediately ran to you and pulled you into a hug. " Hey, hey, it's gonna be okay. Soon it'll be fine and you can use your laptop again!"

You screamed and cried, "Yes, but all my hard work is gone!"

She sighed and ran her hands through your hair. "Fine, I'll help you."

"Are you serious?"

"This is a one-time offer," she grinned. "Take it or leave it."

"If you gave me the chance, I'll take it." you wrapped your arms around her neck and buried your face in it. "Thank you."

"Anything for you."
