Prologue
People had always called her Alex, but her full name was Alexandria Abbot.
The fourteen-year-old witch's life changed drastically this last year, having been expelled from Beauxbatons Academy of Magic.
At this point, she was lucky to even be allowed to study magic.
She never understood why her sister Claire got to be expelled too, or why they were even given a second chance after all.
All the time they spent at the Ministry of Magic during their trials had been a blur and when the judges decided that they would transfer to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in England, both Alex and Claire were grateful.
Since the day of the "incident" though, Alex had never felt the same and her family never missed the chance to remind her... every day.
Her mother had lost any kind of sympathy she once bore for her, now treating her like she is a monster that she had to hide from the world.
Alex wandered it herself, her memories of the day blurry....Maybe she was a monster after all...
