"Remind me again why your dad thinks this is a good idea?" Hope questioned Lizzie once again as the two girls made their way to the entrance of their school while their suitcases levitating behind them.

"I honestly have no idea." The blonde sighed for what felt like the hundredth time that day, "Maybe this isn't so bad, I mean, we will have a whole new sea with new fish to help us move on."

Hope let out a small laugh at her friend and her optimism. Maybe she was right, Hope thought, it might be nice to start over, to go somewhere where her family name wasn't a curse. Well, not as much of a curse.

Almost a month ago Dr. Saltzman received a letter from the headmaster of another school for a different type of magic. Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This letter proposed an exchange program of sorts, two of the Salvatore School's witches would come to Hogwarts for a year and two Hogwarts students would come to the Salvatore School so that the students could learn about different types of magic. Professor Dumbledore wanted to see if wand magic and earth magic were compatible and although this was not mentioned in his letter, if perhaps earth magic could help to defeat Voldemort.

"You need to be positive, Hope." Lizzie was on another reinvention kick so she was eager to volunteer to be a transfer student and her new, but very close, friend Hope was quick to follow. "You are out of your magical coma, you've dumped the hobbit, and I have realized that I deserve better than Sebastian and all those other guys. We are both young and single about to go to a new school where no one knows us or our pasts."

"It will be nice for people not to be scared of me. I mean, it's not like I could do any worse then Landon and Roman." Lizzie laughed slightly at her friends straight forward nature.

"Yes, that's the right attitude," She bumped her shoulder in a playful way. "I think. Either way it will be nice not to be crazy Lizzie and the Hope Mikaelson the scary tribrid loner."

"Dr. S said that the Hogwarts students won't know who I am or who my family is. The teachers will but overall I should be able to be at least sort of normal."

The two girls ended their conversation when they reached the door of the school. It was weird for both of them to leave. It was all Lizzie had ever known and Hope had never been to another school. The Salvatore School was like a home to both girls, something in them told them that things would not be the same after this.
