I entered the cafeteria not sure how to react to all the unfriendly stares I was receiving.It was 2:36 PM and I was completely safe as killing is prohibited between 7 AM and 7 PM.But it's better to stay on guard.I should remain careful in case someone approaches me.No one can be trusted.Because after seeing hirata's death,I can't bring myself to call anyone here as a friend.
I went to a empty table and just sat there.I know I had to find ayanakoji but I can't find him without knowing where he lives.And I'm definitely not searching all those floors just for one boy.I hope I make Acquaintance with someone who knows Ayanakoji.
Some minutes passed.Many were still staring at me.They were cautious of me.
A minute later the door of the cafeteria opened.From their entered the only girl I could feel ease with.Ichinose.I had seen her on the footage and she appeared more approachable.
She on spotting me made her way to my seat.She was surprisingly alone.I thought she might have friends.I wasn't able to spot Wang-Mei.Maybe she was in the dorms.I would like to meet her.She was sweet.
Ichinose waved at me once she got close.
"Hello,we got the news that someone new is coming.But we didn't expect you to come today."
"Uh that masked person kinda, sent me now."I replied.
Should I tell her about the footage he/she showed her.No first I should get to know this girl.
Ichinose smiled warmly and took a seat next to me.Her voice was too sweet.
"So let me introduce myself.Im Ichinose Honami."
"Chiaki Matsushita."I introduced myself.
She then suddenly stood up and clapped to gain the attention of everyone sitting.
"Hello everyone,I think we should introduce ourselves to Matsushita San."
After hearing her most people got up and left.Two people came over.And I would be lying if I didn't feel scared.One was huge japanese man wearing sunglasses and other was man of medium height.
"Kukuku, ichinose just shut up.You are starting to annoy everyone."The person with magenta hair said.
Ichinose looked hurt and she looked down a little.I squeezed her arm to comfort her.
The boy continued,"We aren't hear to make friends.Unlike you we want to get the fuck out of here.And I can't wait to get my hands on you.But I'm sparing you for now.Because as much as I hate to say we need someone to maintain the atmosphere."
He was right in a way.If ichinose calms down everyone after the murder.People will let their guards down and that would make them easy kills.It might not be ichinose's intention but a killer doesn't care.This Ryuuen person gave me bad vibes.
He then turned to me.He grabbed my chin.A feeling of disgust spread through me but I didn't show any weakness.Because I knew exactly what he was trying to do.He was checking my spirit.If he thought I was weak,then he would go after me.So I mantained my posture.
He stared at me for few seconds when ichinose pried of his hands off my face.I was thankful to her.She was like an angel.
The boy chuckled and looked at me.
"My name is Ryuuen kakeru."
He might have been waiting for my name,but I just ignored him and looked back at ichinose who was little shaking due to the tension between me and the boy whose name was Ryuuen.
He laughed and left wtih the tall boy following him.
Once he left ichinose held my hands,"Matsushita San you are so strong.I wish I was like you."
I really feel bad for her.She is the type of a person who likes to make friends.But she has been forced into this hell where she has to see them die.
No I have to finish this game at all costs.
But the question is will I be able to kill someone?
Ichinose looked at me and squeezes my shoulders with both her hands.It looks like she sensed my unease.
"Don't worry Matsushita san,we will get out of this.I too can't see them dying."She said with a sad smile.
I decided to ask her about Wang-mei,"Ichinose san,where is Wang-mei?The masked man told me that you two were good friends."
Her eyes watered when she heard wang-mei's name.
I understood what she was going to say and I hugged her.I didn't care if people were looking at us.But I didn't want her to break.If she breaks now, people might go and take chance of killing her.
She started crying.Half the People in the cafeteria left to give us privacy.
Two girls approached our tables.I stopped hugging ichinose and let them take the cue.It looked like they knew ichinose.
They approached ichinose and the brown haired girl hugged her.
"Calm down honami chan,mii chan wouldn't want you to cry."
I looked at the other girl who had silver hair.She noticed me looking at her and she sighed.
"It was Ryuuen San.After hirata died,mii chan lost her confidence and distanced herself from everyone.Ryuuen took advantage of her broken state and killed her.And ichinose San blames herself because she feels like if she would have been their for mii chan then she would still have been strong and fighting."
I looked at ichinose with sympathy.Its very hard for her.What is that masked bastard getting from playing with us.
This game is much more cruel than I thought at first.
After sometime everyone calmed down ichinose San.We changed the subjects and started talking about random things.According to them only 21 students had shared their names with everyone.Rest of the 12 students have denied from giving their names.
"So you mean their is a high chance that one of them is the impostor.But why are 12 people hiding their names."
"Because after the first letter was revealed,many students found that letter in their names too So they deny to share it.Because if someone gets wrongly accused than only he/she is executed.No one wants to die you know."The brown haired girl replied.
She was correct.If someone accuses A than only A will be executed.But for accusing 60% of the total alive people must agree with the accusation.
Therefore the person who has the most support has the highest power.He can always threaten others.If the other person resists then he would be wrongly accused and killed.
A shiver ran through me.Because 'I' comes in my name too.If I'm careless I might be wrongly accused too.
I then remembered I had too meet ayanakoji so I turned towards the three people.
"Hey do you know where I might find ayanakoji Kiyotaka?"
The brown haired and the silver haired girl looked at me in confusion.
"Who the hell is he?"They asked in unison.
