The Death Game Begins

Its the year 2062 and the fate of 52 highschool students is to be decided.

Matsushita POV

I shifted from my position.It looked like I was sitting on something.It was a chair.I looked ahead and I saw another chair but it wasn't facing me.

I began to observe my surroundings.It didn't seem like a office,it was like a school?

But why can't I remember anything?

Then the person sitting in the chair in front of me stood up.I became a little wary of him and the new surroundings.

He stood up and turned to face me.He was wearing a mask,so I couldn't make out the person's face.He/she was  looking at me and started laughing.

"Matsushita Chiaki,a pleasure to meet you."It said.The voice seemed to be altered.It was very deep but it broke in between syllables of pleasure and meet.It was hearable only if one listened carefully.

As I was always good at hearing,I catched the words quite clearly.

I suddenly felt unease when the person in front of me started laughing.

"It would be fun to see a new face in the killzone."

Huh killzone?What the hell is going on?

"Oh I didn't tell you did I?Well then let me show you three footages which would make everything clear.And this is the past so who knows what's going to happen after you enter the game."

Huh?Game?What are these riddles?It's getting more and more complicated.And what footage?

Footage 1

A boy is shown walking in a corridor.He walks inside a room where a bunch of students were gathered.

A commotion was going on but it was muted.The boy stood in front and started addressing the students to calm down and he said that they would get out of this situation by staying together.

The students calm down and look at him as he assumes leadership.Another girl enters the room and she too calms down everyone with her kind words.Most of the boys are entranced by her appearance.She has pink hair.

As the students calm down,introductions began.Many leave the room obviously not interested in giving introductions.The remaining students give their introductions and a group forms.

"So how did you feel in this footage."The masked man asked me suddenly.

I just gave my honest feelings,"It looked like their was some kind of commotion going on and the boy and the girl calmed the people down and kind of..become friends with some of them?"

She laughed,"Your observation prowess is really something.You can come to this conclusion even when part of the video is muted.Well then let me tell you about both of them."

"The boy and the girl?"I asked.

"Yes"he said

He showed me two cards on the projector screen.

He pointed at the first card.
