Chapter 12

"Absurd." The head Knight scoffed. "Arrest him."

Mas lalo namang nanlaki ang mata ko nang muling nabuo ang mga blades sa espada nila. A chill went down to my spine. Fueled only by adrenaline, I jumped on one shoulder of a knight and made an ice skating floor above them. My feet slid as my hands continued to form ice floors. Pakiramdam ko mas malakas ang kapangyarihan ko ng ice rito, ngunit hindi ko magamay nang ayos ang kapangyarihan na namana ko kay Papa.

I heard them panic, so I formed a thick water ball around them then freezing it into ice. Kung mababasag man nila 'yon, hindi kaagad-agad. I'd have the time to escape.

But then, those guards aren't the only ones who are catching me. Everyone else in the realm, too.

I continued to glide, my fingers moving delicately and quickly, leaving luminescent trails behind me— I couldn't help it. I'm in the center of attraction now, so these trails would be of no help either.

Nanlaki ang mata ko nang may makitang isang malaking palasyo sa harap ko. There are also many people there, and my heart raced a couple of beats faster every time my eye caught the movement and magic of the people— who was racing with me.

I forced my gaze on a tunnel on the lower right of the castle. I looked back and saw that the knights are somehow far from me. Muli akong tumingin sa unahan at tinantya kung ga'no kabilis ako makakarating d'on.

Napangisi naman ako sa plano ko. I hope this will work. Tinaas ko ang kamay ko at nagpaulan ng mga ice shards, pero hindi naman sobrang tilos na makakapatay na ng tao, just enough to wound. Sana makalabas pa ako nang buhay.

I camouflaged as water. Then, I did my best to move as fast as a waterfall. Sigurado naman akong may nakakakita pa sa'kin, but at least they wouldn't be able to notice how I look.

I dived and landed down. My boots became ice skating boots, so I glided on the floor again— with a water hurricane surrounding me. Hindi ko rin alam kung pa'no ko nagagawang mabilis at pagsabay-sabayin ang kapangyarihan ko. Pakiramdam ko, hindi ko 'to magagawa sa mortal realm, ngunit dito, nagagawa ko. My power is triple than what I had back then.

Sa wakas, nakapasok ako sa tunnel. I smirked as I closed the tunnel with thick ice, and a water hurricane by the opening. Hindi ko alam kung hanggang kailan 'yon magtatagal, pero at least nagawa ko.

Napatingin ako sa unahan at kaagad na natuwa nang walang makitang tao. I sprinted towards the end of the tunnel, and when I saw a crowd of people, I hid for a while— doing my best not to catch other's attention.

Binaba ko ang buhok ko para mas lalong walang makapansin sa hitsura ko. I also removed the upper clothing I had and left the inner sando. I kept my head down while walking and blending with the crowd. Luckily, this crowd haven't seen my face.

Napalunok akong muli habang patuloy na nagmamasid. Something bright moved in the corner of my eye. It was only a split second, so I scanned the crowd again. Pero... wala naman. Wala namang maliwanag na gumalaw.

Pero ngayon, nakita ko naman 'yon sa kabilang mata. My head snapped towards that side of the crowd, but it was really nothing. Tila ba pinaglalaruan lang ang utak ko, o guni-guni ko lang 'yon.

My feet ran slowly in that direction as my eyes scanned the crowd like crazy, but still with my head down. A horn was blown, and all citizens stood straight.

Maglalakad na sana ako palayo nang biglang may humawak sa balikat ko. At sa isang iglap, nagbago na ang paligid. Marahas akong napaharap sa likod ko, at natigilan nang mapansing nasa loob ng isang kastilyo.
