"Y/n you need to eat.." Fred pestered me again, pushing my plate of eggs and toast in front of me.

"If you've forgotten something, thinking about it won't help you remember." Lee informed me.

"Yeah, it will just come to you," George added.

We were all currently sat eating breakfast.. well the boys were. I was sat, in my own thoughts. I thought I had forgotten something but I didn't know for sure if there was anything to forget or if it was just a feeling.

"Use Neville's remembrall. If u have forgotten something, it will glow red," Harry chimed in from a couple seats down, clearly had been listening to our conversation. Note to self: If you're speaking about something secretive, speak extra quiet around Harry.

"Omg great idea!" were the first words I had spoke in around 20 minutes. I stood up and ran to Neville who was further down the table and sat in the empty seat beside him.

"Oh y/n, hello," he smiled at me, as cheerful as usual. I've always loved Neville, he doesn't have many friends and I'm so confused on why. I have more friends than him, how does that work? He is the sweetest, kindest and most considerate guy ever! "Hey Neville," I smiled widely at him.

"How can I help you?" he asked, closing his book on Herbology.

"I was wondering if you still have your Remembrall?"

"Yes, it's right here in my bag," he pointed at his brown bag which was slung around his shoulder. "Got to carry it around with me, gran says. I don't blame her, I forget things all the time. You probably know that anyways, people always make fun of me for it. Why do you ask?"

"Can i hold it?" i asked.

"Yeah of course, you forgotten something?" he pulled out the clear sphere which was now sat in his hand.

"Yeah I think I have. Not sure," I told him. Just then, I noticed the ball fill with red smoke.

"Happens to me too. Hey! Looks like it's still working," he held it up to look at the smoke. "I just don't remember what I have forgotten,"

"That's why it's forgotten Neville.. It wouldn't be forgotten if you remembered it,". He looked at me confused but passed me the Remembrall. At first it returned back to its clear colour and in only a few seconds it turned crimson again. "Oh.."

I gave it back to him, "Thanks. And.. about what you said before, about people making fun of you for it. Just know, you're worth 50 of those people and forgetting things isn't a bad thing. Everyone forgets things, it's human.". I offered him a warm smile which he instantly returned.

"So, what happened?" George asked as I sat back down with them.

"It turned red. I can't remember it though! Why can't i remember it?" I shoved my face into my hands and rested my elbows on the table.

I felt 2 hands holding onto my arms and squeezing them gently, it was comforting. "Don't stress y/n. It won't be anything important," Fred rubbed my arms, gaining weird looks and smirks from the other two boys.
"Yeah, i guess you're right," I shrugged.

"Now please eat," Fred pleaded.

"Okay, okay, Frederick, i will," And i did. I ate my breakfast and forgot that I forgot anything in the first place. That was until I was in my charms class with Professor Flitwick.
