Ambience of Christmas disperse into the soul of each and everyone. Feeling the coldness that lingers the air, the sound of bells that chimed the beginning of the season, and the smell of classic luscious cuisine served in every home.
Stepping unto the fallen snow, the petite mafia was saturated with a vast amount of merriment. Every single stride brought him closer to the workplace of the brunette, to whom he'll be giving a surprise to.
Standing in front of the door in the Armed Detective Agency, the petite mafia's knocks were heard and was welcomed by none other than Kenji Miyazawa.
"Hi Chuuya-san!! Merry Christmas!!!"
"Hello there, kid. Merry Christmas!" The ginger responded with a smile and asked, "Where's Dazai?"
"Oh come in Chuuya-san! Dazai-san is busy reading and he's listening to music using his headphones, he's there on the couch." Kenji pointed, directing the ginger to where Dazai was staying.
"Thank you, Kenji" The petite mafia patted the other's head and went inside the office, he greeted everyone inside the agency before surprising his lover.
Going near to the couch, the ginger heard Dazai singing some Christmas songs. He removed the headphones of the other and the brunette's eyes widened with excitement just by seeing his petite mafia lover visit him.
"Chibi~ what brings you here, miss me already?~" the taller detective said in a singsong manner.
"Shitty Dazai, here. Merry Christmas.." Chuuya handed his gift to Dazai.
The brunette was astonished owing to the fact that his chibikko surprised him on this Christmas day. Usually, both will spend their holiday on a lovely date, go to the park or even watch movies and cuddle.
Opening the gift, inside the colorful wrapped box was a heart shaped locket necklace. A picture of him and Chuuya was found,

I love this.. Dazai thought.
Chuuya was giving Dazai a self-satisfied look, not only did he surprise his lover, but it made the other shed a tear.
"Chuuya... t-thank you.. I love you.. so much.." The brunette said in between sobs.
The petite mafia was about to kiss and hug the other but to his daze, he found Dazai down on one knee facing him, with a small box on his hand raising it to the ginger. When Dazai opened it, he saw a ring that shined beautifully. Chuuya's shock robbed his words..
Dazai is proposing to him.
"Chibi.. I want to be with you for the rest of our lives, I found my reason for living because of you, and I want to shower you with all my love.. I want to be with you through our ups and downs.. Helping and caring for each other.. This precious gift would be the start of our bond, a new chapter, as one soul in two bodies.. This day perhaps is a Merry Christmas for all, but I want to make it different for today, just for you....
Nakahara Chuuya.. Will you marry me? "
The ginger can't stop his tears from falling down his cheeks, he truthfully loves this person despite being a suicidal maniac, Dazai is the person who pulled him into the life where he can live contentedly. And he is proud to say that Dazai never fails to surprise him..
"Yes.. Yes Yes yes!!! I will marry you, Osamu!" The brunette slid the ring on the ginger's ring finger. Chuuya pulled Dazai up and kissed him fervidly.
The witnesses of this touching scenario, the members of the agency, applauded the newly engaged couple and said their congratulatory.
Now resting their foreheads against each other, the petite mafia cupped the brunette's cheeks, "I love you so so much Osamu.."
" I love you so so much too, my soon to be husband..
