It was Saturday morning. Liam and Morgan didn't get up from bed until late, and the only reason Liam even opened his eyes was due to the sun beaming into their shared bedroom between a gap in the curtains.

It was Liam's fault they slept in so late -- he kept turning off the alarm and throwing the covers over Morgan's head so he would stay in bed and cuddle with him... God, Morgan was so fucking adorable. Morgan laughed hysterically, caving in to snuggling in bed longer with Liam -- one of Liam's favorite things in the world was falling asleep to Morgan running his fingers through his hair. Cuddling with Morgan was one of Liam's favorite things in the entire world. He loved how Morgan touched him... Like he was all his. Because he was, and it was still surreal.

When Liam groggily went to make the coffee, he noticed there was a warm batch already made in the pot. He poured some out, making an extra cup for Morgan who was still getting dressed, and walked over to the patio door to look outside.

Dave and Ethan were talking outside on the patio chairs with coffee mugs in their hands. It was cold outside, even with Liam putting on the jacket he had hanging by the sliding door, and he wondered how Ethan was out here with just his robe. You could see Ethan and Dave's breath in the air while they talked.

Liam was going to ask Ethan what was going on because... He was pretty sure Dave had to have said something to Ethan by now. He had to know. Right? Dave probably said something, right?!

He saw Ethan make eye contact with him and smile before he stood up, still talking to Dave, and started heading back towards Liam and the patio door.

"Good morning," Ethan mentioned when Liam opened the door for him.

"...What's up..." Liam asked, giving him suggestive eyes and a raised eyebrow.

Ethan glared, biting the inside of his cheek for a moment. "...What's up?" He passed by Liam, walking into the living room.

Liam smirked as he walked outside, slowly closing the door behind him in Ethan's face. Liam stuck his tongue out at him and then jokingly licked the glass of the patio door suggestively... It was so cold out that his tongue felt like it was going to freeze off.

Ethan's mouth dropped open before he rolled his eyes, but Liam totally fucking saw him laugh as he walked back into his bedroom.

Liam grinned as he walked over and sat next to Dave, looking over at him.

"Morning, Dave..."

He didn't say anything, but that had never stopped Liam from continuing before.

"So, have you tried anything on Ethan yet...?"

"Have I 'tried anything' on Ethan?" Dave looked over at him with his characteristically stoic expression. "What the fuck is that supposed to mean?"

"Yeah, you know... Moves and stuff."

Dave rolled his eyes and Liam took that as a 'no.'

"Liam, we talked about this..."

"Oh come on. Yeah you're a short boy, but look at these gains though." Liam squeezed Dave's arm and Dave rolled his eyes again as he smacked Liam's hand off of him.

Liam was honestly trying to make Dave feel better... He felt like Dave wasn't trying moves on Ethan because he didn't have confidence.

He was being too hard on himself.

Out of Liam, Ethan, and Dave, Dave won when it came to most dedication to working out... And you could tell. Liam wished his arms were as fit as Dave's. Dave looked good. He shouldn't be beating himself up like he didn't... Julian was bigger, and taller, but there was nothing wrong with Dave and Liam thought he'd be great with Ethan.
