Selda Gittel grabbed her lunch tray after the lunch lady gave her some Curry Udon and proceeded to her usual table in the back corner of the cafeteria. Once seated she unzipped her back pack and pulled out her Geometry and Biology text books and began taking notes while  eating her lunch in peace. This was her usual routine. No one bothered with her because she was a quiet class nerd... but she liked it.

It was quiet and peaceful and she was able to study in harmony but like every human out there, even the ones who deny it up front, she would still like some company. Selda was always alone at Zion Academy. She didn't even have “Fake” buddies, the type of friend who only talk to you to make you feel better. That's pretty sad.

Selda was in the middle of re-copying the notes to the Geometry test just for easy memorization when the sound of a chair scooting and someone sitting down in front of her slightly stole her attention. Looking up, Selda gaped at the sexiest man she'd ever seen. Granted she doesn't look at men often... or anyone for that matter, he was still hot.

His pitch black hair was silky smooth and reached his shoulders and his eyes were a sterling silver color. His skin was very pale and he had three piercings on his left ear and one more on the left. However it was his full sensuous lips that pulled her in. He was dressed in classic goth attire, the black leather gloves, black biker coat with fishnet under shirt, black leather pants and silver studded belt, and black biker boots with cleats and spikes around the ankles.

He paid no attention to her as he put in some neon green skull headphones and started to eat his own lunch. Selda figured he wanted peace but why sit with her if he did? She looked at the rest of the cafeteria and gaped at how full it was. This wasn't normally the amount of students for this lunch period.

“Why is there so many people...?” Selda whispered more to herself, not really expecting an answer.

When a deep and very rich voice replied she jumped a bit, “The Headmaster is holding a tour for students outside the city limits. These are really just students on tour plus our own school.”

Selda looked back the the man who sat across from her but his gaze was focused on his meal, “Um... did you just...?”

He was still gazing down, “Yeah, I said that.”

“Oh... um... h-how can you hear me... with the... ya know.. headphones?” God, she sounded like an idiot.

He smiled lightly, “I haven't turned on the music yet.”

Selda made a small O with her mouth. Then she returned her attention to her studies and the rest of the lunch period was quiet.

When the bell finally sounded the man stood up and threw his trash out but not before grabbing hers to throw away as well. Without taking notice of her he walked out of the cafeteria. Selda just stood there and stared at the exit.

That was the weirdest lunch I've ever had.

-------------- Five Days later---------------

The weekend was just around the corner, the tour ended two days ago, but this man was still sitting in front of her! WHY?!

Selda kept glancing at him nervously. It was the same routine everyday. She'd get her lunch, sit at her favorite table, start to study, and then he would sit across from her and they wouldn't say a word to each other for the whole lunch period.
