"What's the meaning of this?!" Edmar Legrand was furious at the intrusion within his cove.

Edmar was of a Golden Water Serpent, The Lord of the Merfolk, and his scales were that of the golds of the desert. The gold scales wrapped like rib cages around the sides of his torso, leaving his chest bare. The waist line of his dark purple, serpent, mertail, was wrapped by golden, spiked coral that grew from the tail itself. His golden scaled, webbed hands were clawed and reached to the forearm and branched off into fins from the elbow. The dual dorsal fins on his back were the same golden color as the rest of his scales as they spanned out like webbed claws, the same pattern lay on his ears in a smaller fashion. His lavender hair was long and tied into a thin ponytail. The skin that rested on his body was a dull olive tone. His golden liquid eyes were that of a dragons, sharp, piercing, and terrifying.

The night made the water of the cove in the back of Silvanus's cave turn a beautiful black color, the glowing lilies released golden spores that shone like fireflies upon the water and adding an eerie glow on the Merman.

Standing before him was the Elven and Incubi Lords. Amati Aubrey, of the Elves, was looking stoic as his auburn hair hung loosely about his shoulders and his tall height formed a shadow among the glowing lilies within his home, his piercing blue eyes were pinning the merman on the spot. His 'friend', the incubus, was leaning against the dark, damp granite walls as his ruby hair was tied back and hung down his left shoulder, his eyes, usually glowing with the radiance of a garnet, were closed as he listened to the elf and merman argue.

Amati took in a deep breath, "As I said... I need you to launch a water assault against the Ultimate Hell Realm. The water defenses are completely lax and I know the waters run straight through to the Hell Dimensions."

Edmar rose from the rock that he rested on and allowed the strength in his tail to hoist him up, his own height dwarfing the elf since the fish half of him was that of a Water Serpent, the great Dragons of the water, "I will not risk the lives of the merfolk to help the land dwellers. Until Khaos poses a threat to our own people this is your battle."

He glared at Silvanus, "You told me no one would bother me here."

"I'm sorry," Silvanus muttered, then he pushed himself off the wall to turn and face Edmar, "I was truly going to let you swim in the back of the cave in piece but... this is a serious problem. Just because Khaos isn't bothering you now doesn't mean he won't. I just want you to be informed of the situation." His garnet eyes staring Edmar down with the seriousness in their depths.

Edmar sighed, shoving his webbed, scaly, golden hand through his lavender hair, sighing in aggravation, "Is it truly that awful? A being trying to regain his lost powers.... I just can't see the problem in it."

"Well, then, let me explain," The elf crossed his arms on his chest as he listed off how Khaos was going about regaining power, "He has issued the abduction of a few human children. He has a war general, who can walk dreams, trying to end prophecies that inhibit him, even if it means death. A witch who has been submerged in a Destruction Vent and controls fiends against their wills. He forced a reaper to kill one of the elements and the war general to go after another. He's had an evil elven hag tamper with the human village to the west and angered the Wolven and Incubi simultaneously. Do you see a problem now?"

Edmar was feeling dread fill his stomach with every word that poured from Amati's lips. They all sounded like horrific actions, because they were, however the last one....
