I run into the house, leting my bag make a big thump to the ground. I run upstairs and start rambling through my closet. " what to wear, what to wear?" I thought to myself. Not knowing what to wear in any way, I just keep pushing though my closet. I hear the door open slightly.

"Aiko, sweetie can i come in? " I hear my mom ask.

"Yeah come on in mom." I reply. She walks in and sits on my bed. I continue looking though my clothes.

"Where ya going tonight? She says. I whip around.

"Not on a date or anything. We were just gonna hang out. Two... friends!" I say flopping backwards on my bed. Trying not to give away that who I was going with was a boy.

"And you want to be more than that?" She asks. I shake my head, lying. I guess moms can figure things out. Quickly.

"May I suggest that one?" She says pointing to one of my spring dresses and coat. I smile.

"You always know what to say and do." I say hugging her.

"Thats only because i wore that when your father and I had our first night out." She says this and then leaves the room.

I smiled as she walked away. I realize that I should stop day dreaming and get ready, Tadashi should be here soon. I throw on my clothes and stare at myself in the mirror. I didn't have that much confindence in myself. " Its just a simple night out". I then, just pull my hair back into a messy bun, run downstairs and wait. I waited and waited till the door bell rang and finally it did. I jump up, smooth out my skirt and act calm as I walk to the door. I open the door and there he was. He wore his usual; Jeans, long tank then shirt. But this time, without the hat. I liked him like that, he looked charming. " Hi". I say as I grab my purse and sneak out the door. "Hello, you look nice". He replies. I blush a little and respond with a shy "thank you". We walk over to his scooter and I stop when I come to it. "I never really rode a scooter before". I admit. Tadashi then, puts his helmet on and hops on the scooter, patting me to sit down. I scoot behind him, and he hands me an extra helmet. "Just hold on to something". Tadashi says. That answer didn't really help because I didn't know what to hold on to. But I remember in the movies, how people ride on scooters. So I slowly put my arms around Tadashi stomach and held on tight.
