Change ~*Naruto Fanfic*~

I woke to a gentle shake. "Silver, wake up. we're here." It was Zen, my 'twin'. I opened my eyes to see us approaching a giant gate.

I rubbed my eyes. "How long was I asleep?"

He shrugged. "About 2 days." My eyes widened. I couldn't help but flail around. " You carried me for two days?! I'm sorry! You must be tired! "

He just laughed. "Nah, you're so light. I forgot i was even carrying you about twice! Besides, you're the reason we are even alive. I owe you as much." I looked down, avoiding his gaze. That was not a topic i  wanted to talk about. "Can you please put me down now?"  He looked at me skeptically. "I'm fine. Really. I promise."

Sighing, he placed me gently on the floor. I wobbled a little bit, then finally regained my balance. "You shouldn't be moving. You used a lot of chakra when...you know...did that thing..."

I glared at him. He knew to drop the subject. I never got mad about anything, and if i was mad he knew it was best to leave me be. He then looked me over. " Here, take my coat. Your clothes are coated in blood. Don't want them getting suspicious." He smiled and draped the coat over my clothes. I buttoned it up.

Once we reached the giant gate, we were immediately questioned by the two gate keepers. I immediatly grabbed onto Zen's arm and hid behind him.

 The one with spikey hair and a bandage on his nose spoke first. "Hey, you two. What's your business here?" 

"We would like to live here, if thats alright. " Zen looked at me. The guards followed his gaze, noticing me for the first time. Then they looked back at Zen and nodded. "Alright, we will take you to the Hokage to see what to do. Come on." They walked away, with us following close behind.

I took in everything around us. The shops, the restuarants, and the happy people wandering around. Everything was so...bright. Happy. Not like the darkness i was used to.

Zen noticed me and chuckled. "You look like a kid in a toy store. It's cute~" and he proceeded to pinch my cheeks. Blushing slightly, i scowled and slapped his hands away. He pouted. I rolled my eyes and jogged to catch up with the gatekeepers. They looked at me and asked a question i knew many people were going to ask us. "You two are siblings, right?" I shook my head. "No. We are not related at all. " I thought for a moment. "Though we are close enough to be siblings." The two glanced at each other confused and dropped the subject.

We reached the Hokage's a short time later. The Hokage saw us immediatley. "Welcome to Konoha, the Village Hidden in the Leaves. What can i do for you children?" He was kind and gentle, like a grandfather would be.

Zen stepped forward, " We would like to live here, and hopefully be able to become ninjas. I am Zen and she is Silver." I nodded, showing i am parrticipating in the conversation.

"How old are you two?"

" I am 16 and she is 14." 

The Hokage shuffled some papers. " Do you two have any experiance being a ninja?" I glanced at him worriedly. Would he tell him?

Zen rubbed the back of his head " i could probably become a Jounin or at least a Chunin."

The Hokage looked at me. "- and she could most definately become a Jounin. She could even be-"

I swiftly cut him off, " - But i would like to join a class of my age group." They both looked shocked. Zen more than the Hokage. " But... we cant be in a group together then! What if you get hurt!? I cant let you-"

"Zen. Please. I'll be fine. You know i can protect myself. You should know that..."

He sighed. I could tell he was struggling to convince himself. The Hokage decided to speak up. "I could tell you two have been through a lot. If it helps, i could place her on the team with the strongest Leader." 

" Can't i be with her somehow AND be a higher ninja level?"

The Hokage thought for a moment. " If you can score Jounin on our test, you can accompany her on certain missions."

Zen fistpumped. "NOW THATS SOME MOTIVATION!" he turned and hugged me. " I promise to stay with you as much as i can."

The Hokage called two Anbu and they took him to wherever the test takes place. Then i sat alone with the Hokage. "I have called for the sensei of your age group to come here and escort you. Would you like to answer some questions while we wait?" I looked at him emotionlessly.

"I make no promises to answer all of your questions." He chuckled. "Of course. Now...Would you tell me why you two look so alike but are not related?"

I stiffened. " We were...'made'...to look alike." I looked away. He got the message and asked another.

" Why do you smell of blood?"

"We were attacked." Not a complete lie. If he really knew why, i would probably be taken to jail and/or killed.

"Are you really as powerful as he said you are?"

"I guess." Hey, i was a modest person.

" Where are you from-" Before he finished his question, a man poofed into the room. "Lord Hokage, you wished to see me?"

"Ah yes, Iruka. This is a new student of yours. Dont worry, she knows all the techniques for the test. She will be joining squad 7." Iruka looked at me, then realized something.

"But Lord Hokage, If Naruto passes, squad seven will be uneven." 

"Dont worry. It will be fine. Now, go back to your class." Iruka sighed and waved his hand gesturing me to follow him. 

~ alright that was the first chapter!!! WOOO! Next chapter she will meet the Naruto gang!!! Please comment! Will post pictures!! This chapter will show Silvers look and Zens :D outfits will be up next chapter!
