"Well that's what you get for phasing through the ground at 8 am," Nejire said

"And I'm bringing it up again I don't like the amount of Mirio slander that we go through every day," He huffed crossing his arms

"I like it," I said, "What about you Nejire?"

"I like it too what about you Tamaki?" Nejire asked him and he nodded with a small smile

"You can't just turn my best friend on me and then expect me to be ok with it" He pouted

"You've been ok with it for the past 10 years I think you'll be fine," I said finishing my food and taking a sip from my water bottle. The lunch bell rang signifying that it was time for class again. We cleaned up our table and went to our lockers to get our stuff for the next class. We had hero training with All Might next so we went to change after getting our bags. Today we were doing 1 on 1 close combat. He chose names out of a hat and those were the partners. Please don't get Mirio please don't get Mirio please don't get Mirio There's nothing wrong with Mirio but my quirk just isn't compatible with his so he would beat my ass which he's done before.

"Ok! Young Togata and Young Amajiki!" All Might said

"Ooh," the class said including me

"The best friends are battling it out for the strongest in the class!" Someone said

"This seems more intense than it actually is," Nejire sweatdropped

"Yeah who do you think is gonna win though," I asked her

"If we're being honest Mirio," She said

"I don't know I have my money on Tamaki you saw what he had for lunch today," I smirked

"Ohh takoyaki," She said

"See, once he gets his hand- er tentacles on Mirio he just has to squeeze or bang him around and he wins," I explained

"Wouldn't Mirio die or just Phase out," She said

"Oh yeah that's right but if he catches Mirio off guard then-" I started

"He's a goner," She said

"Mhm you see where I'm going with this," I said

"Yeah I do but I still have my faith in Mirio," She said throwing her hands up

"Alright just be ready to be wrong," I smiled

"We'll see about that," She smirked

"NOW FIGHT!" All Might yelled through the microphone. Tamaki turned his hands into tentacles and lunged at Mirio who phased through them as expected. He came back up through the ground behind Tamaki scaring him making Tamaki send him flying with a hard kick to the gut. Sending Mirio flying to the wall.

"Ooh, that was a good kick have you been practicing?" Mirio asked him cheerfully, Tamaki didn't say anything and just retracted his tentacles and grew wings out of his back flying up into the air. "Retreating to the sky I see,"

"We don't need your commentary," I said through the mic

"Oh sorry I got a little ahead of myself" He chuckled not noticing Tamaki coming back down. Tamaki came at him with the talons of some sort of bird. But Mirio jumped out the way at the last second dive rolling behind a rock. Mirio phased through the rock faking out Tamaki. Tamaki cautiously walked near the rock trying to see if Mirio was still there only to get socked in the head from behind. He toppled over and tripped over the rock giving Mirio an obvious advantage. Mirio grabbed him by his collar and punched him in the face multiple times. Tamaki was taking a hard beating from Mirio, he tried his best to push him off but' Mirio had him straddled.
