The next morning Kuroo was gone and ran back home as fast as he could. There was no time to waste with Souta there would be a punishment. Last time Kuroo ran this fast was during volleyball practice. Now he goes to collage and is in a business major. His body running on coffee and food.

If only he was in bed with Kenma right now. But he was happy in the most part. He had finally figured out what was going on in Kenma's head and will do his best to prevent it. The fact that Kenma kept his dead mom a secret for years scared him. What else had he kept a secret? Maybe some others deep dark things. As he thought about the millions of things Kenma could've been keeping secret he froze. Something was telling him not to go into his own house but then again anyone with common sense wouldn't go in if they knew Souta. He looked down at his wrist with a small weak smile and went in.

The house was dark and quiet except for a few lit candles. It was still pretty early so he didn't think much of it. He continued to his room each step made the old wood floor creak. When he first got the house he liked the creaky floors. Is anyone would try to murder him he would see it coming. He never thought he would be trying to sneak into his own house. He hummed a bit as he hoped it would calm him down. Why was he even scared? Souta knew he was going to arrive home today. But what if he pulled something random? What if he decided to kill him today? Or right at this moment.

He lets out a heavy sigh and hummed the "Sofia" by Clario. Maybe having happy thoughts would cure his anxiety. He thought about Kenma as he hummed the melody to the song. Kuroo loved to sing, it annoy Kenma or to express how he felt. He wasn't the best singer and he knew that but sometimes he would start to sing songs. Happy or sad didn't matter.

"I think we could do it if we tried," he whispered as he sways his head.

He opened his bedroom door and saw Souta still asleep in his bed. It's been a while since he had slept in his room. He loved how warm it felt. He got on the far side of the bed from Souta so he could rest a bit more. His room was small and crowded with books do it wasn't like he could get another bed in here. Souta also refused to sleep in his own room and Kuroo wasn't allowed to sleep anywhere else unless it was the basement. His eyes closed shut and he drifted to sleep.

Kenma jolts awake from a night mare. The same silly nightmare of Kuroo dying. He hated sleeping for that exact reason. What was the point of his mind creating dumb dreams? Torturing both of them.

Kenma looks around for Kuroo but there was no sight of him. He should of known this was going to happen. He stood up and walked by the window to see that the snow had melted. At least Kuroo way home was better then yesterday's. The small boy wondered how Kuroo could of connected everything together so easily while he struggled to do a simple math equation these days.

He looked back at his calendar to see how he was going to spend his week. To his surprise there wasn't much going on since Christmas was in 3 days. Maybe a few streams and 1 call with the press wouldn't be as bad. He also had to pay Hinata since he sponsored him and all. It's been a while since he had heard from him but then again he said he was going to Brazil for a bit.

He couldn't really remember much from yesterday. Most of it was kinda like a blur except for Kuroo putting the dots together. But then it hit him, Kuroo's wrist. He immediately zoomed to his room to grab his phone. He was an idiot. Why didn't he interagate Kuroo about it? Why didn't he apply something to heal the wound? Why was Kenma from 19 hours ago so dumb? Curse Kuroo's ability to coo him to sleep. But before he could press the call button he thought about it.

The last thing Kuroo would want is Kenma calling him. He probably left early because of the people that beat him up. What now? Does he wait for any message or call? Kenma groaned and ran to his bed. He grabbed his pillow and yelled into it. He was frustrated, what can he do to help Kuroo out? Why didn't he want to tell him what was going on? What does he owe them?

Was it money? Was Kuroo on drugs? Did he do something to get him into this situation? Whatever it was Kenma was going to stick by his side. Just like Kuroo did even thought Kenma tried pushing him away. He would return the favor.

Oh how he missed the dork. He grabbed Kuroo's hoodie and dug his face into it. He hoped he was okay, he hoped that he would come soon.

His decision was final. He would fully commit to there relationship if Kuroo was to ever ask him out. He had given in. Kuroo had truly shown him that it was worth it. A small as you thought those acts where they meant a lot to the smaller boy.

Christmas was in 3 days. Maybe he should get him a gift to really show him how much he mean to him. Kenma got up and hopped onto his set up. Knowing that nerdy tall rooster head he would want his tuition feed payed and maybe new clothes. He was going to be a business man so a new tux? maybe cool rings? Or a periodic table?

Kenma slammed his head on the desk. It was going to be harder then he thought. This was his first time actually getting something for someone on his own. Usually he would take Kuroo for dinner. What if he payed someone to do the shopping for him? But then that wouldn't count as from the heart.

He looked at the time and noticed it was time for a stream. Then he got the best idea. He'll just ask his stream! Of course hes not going to tell them who it's for. They should have great ideas.

He quickly started his stream up and everyone rolled in. Now he couldn't just blurt it out randomly. He had to be casual about it. He played a bit of Minecraft first. Making normal conversation with his chat about what enchantments to put on his diamond sword. Now was the time, Kenma coughed and took a deep breath.

"What's the best gift to get a guy?" Kenma said as he looked away. He was too nervous to look at his chat but he knew this was necessary. He took one peek and the first comment he saw was a pink dildo. His face flushed into a pink shade.

"I hate you guys, be serious for once I really need help." Kenma said as he pinched the bridge of his nose.

"A chain"
"Food"
"Clothes"
"Vinyl"

Maybe that was it, a stack of his favorite records. Kenma quickly texted one of his assistants and told them to get a few specific ones he had in mind.  He turned back to his monitor and smiled.
