Two days had passed and still no sign of Kuroo. Kenma watched as the snow fell from outside his window. It looked so peaceful and magical yet he knew the cold also killed many living things. He could see his neighbors kids running outside jumping with joy making snowman's.

He then looked at his calendar to see it was Christmas morning. He wasn't the type of person to celebrate such holiday but he remembered that he got Kuroo something. He sticked one of his legs out and quickly brought it back in under the blanket. It was freezing, Kenma grabbed his blanket and hopped out of bed. He grabbed a few of his clothes and ran back to the spot he had just left that was still warm. He went under the blanket and started applying his clothes on feeling the cold fabric touch his skin. He cringed at the cold touch.

The weather was now below zero and Kenma had no plans to get out of his bed today unless Kuroo called him. Which he hasn't even done. He was begging to worry until he remembered that it was Christmas again. He was probably out with his family or other friends. He was probably exaggerating, the small boy laid in bed for hours until he grew tired. He got out of bed and walked to the living room. He sent out a tweet wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. Everyone tweeted back and sent him pictures.

Kenma sighed as he looked at everyone with there lovers and the gifts they've gotten. It was probably time to get off his phone anyways. Kenma walked to his coffee machine and started Putting the water into the coffee machine. While the machine did all the work he went up to his record player and put on Christmas music. "All I want for Christmas is you." Started playing in the background.

Giving him some sort of happiness he didn't think he deserved. Then the door bell rang. Kenma flinched and ran to the door tripping on his feet and hit the floor he groaned in pain as he laid there. Pain pulsating from his ankle, but he still managed to get up and open the door. He didn't want to give his hopes up so he was ready to see what he didn't want. He swung the door open and there stood Kuroo with a mask over his face. Kenma grabbed his hand and yanked him inside not wanting neither of them to freeze to death. His heart began to raise as he saw that Kuroo was now here.

"Kuroo where have you been?" Kenma asks bringing warm blankets for him to warm up. He shoved them on Kuroo's arms and walked off. Kuroo looked off to the side not wanting to make eye contact. He watched as Kenma walked on his injured ankle but couldn't say anything.

"Do you want a cup of coffee or hot chocolate?" Kenma asks as he sweetened his coffee, Still no response.

The small boy furrowed his eyebrows and stood Infront of Kuroo forcing him to look at him. He was still not making a sound.

"How was your way back here? I hope you didn't trouble yourself too much." Kenma said one last time.

No response.
Kenma was beginning to feel irritated that he wouldn't talk to him. He was just stting there with his dumb mask on his face. Kenma reached for Kuroo's mask to rip it off but the tall boy caught his arm and shook his head.

"No? I won't take it off if you say something to me." Kenma said snatching his hands back. Kuroo looked up at him sympathetically Knowing he couldn't do anything.

Did he do something wrong? Was he upset with him? What was the meaning of this? Kenma thought to himself.

Kenma took a deep breath before he did anything dumb. His shoulders relaxed and his breathing evened.
He looked at Kuroo who seemed to be a bit upset. He took at his phone and started to type. Kenma watched as his fingers pressed his phone typing out something short. He then turned his phone to the blondes direction.

"Sorry my throat hurts" It said.

Kenma places his hand on his forehead making sure he didn't have a fever but nothing. "I'll bring you some medicine." Kenma said as he began to walk the opposite direction. Kuroo quickly reached for Kenma's arm and stopped him. The small boy looked at him confused. Kuroo shook his head and crossed his arms telling him there was no need for medicine.

Instead he brought Kenma onto his lap and hugged him tightly. The small boy didnt mind but this was still a bit new to him. The last time he was hugged like this was with his mom. He looked down at Kuroo and gave in hugging him back. How could he not? There was definitely something wrong with him but he didn't want to spill.

"Merry Christmas," Kenma whispers into Kuroos ear hoping to bring some joy to him. He felt as Kuroo snuggled up into the crook of his neck. His warm face touching Kenma's neck.

Kenma caressed Kuroo's head slowly intertwining his fingers with the string from the back of Kuroo's ear off. He must of not felt it because he didn't react, he still peacefully laid there. Kenma continued until both of the strings where off. He was ready to get yelled at but all he wanted was to see his face. Kenma parted himself from Kuroo and took the mask off.
Kuroo suddenly felt the cold breeze his his face and tried to snatch it back but it was too late. Kenma fell onto the ground. He slowly looked up to see Kuroo with a scared expression on his face.

Kenma scanned Kuroo's face and was horrified at the sight. "K-Kuroo your face..." Kenma said not knowing what to say. He was shocked, he was scared, he was mad knowing we'll who did this.

"Kuroo! Why do you let yourself be pushed around! Look what they've done to you! Your face they sewed your lips together." Kenma said with a tear falling from his face. Kuroo grabbed a blanket and covered half of his face ashamed to show himself like this. The small boy left  and came back with a pair of scissors in his hand. Kuroo quickly took it away from him. He sat Kenma on his lap and showed his phone to him. Slowly typing "I can't take it off or they will sew it back on."

Kenma lets out a shaky breath feeling defeated. He looked at Kuroo who tried smiling but failed to. His heart ached seeing him like that. He would risk being killed for Kuroo so he wouldn't suffer like this. He cupped Kuroo's face with his small hands and placed his forehead on the other boy.

"Kuroo you idiot." Kenma said as a tear fell down his face, then came the sobs. Kuroo brought his hand to Kenma's face and wiped the tears away.

"Kuroo I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you." Kenma yelled with tears running down his face.

Kuroo sat there shocked not knowing what to do. He brought Kenma to him and hugged him as a sign to tell him everything was okay.

A small whimper could be heard from Kuroo because he couldn't tell Kenma that he loved him back.

They sat there for what seemed like forever until Kenma was too cold. He got off of Kuroo and walked off to make some hot chocolate.

When he finished he came back with two mugs. He handed one to Kuroo who accepted it. Kenma took a big sip from his drink feeling the hot drink warm his body up. He looked at Kuroo who looked down at his mug saddened.

Kenma looked at him confused until he remembered. "K-Kuroo Im sorry I didn't mea-"

He was cut off by Kuroo placing his finger on Kenma's lip telling him to be quiet. His gaze faced Kuroo who looked like he was smiling with his eyes.

Kenma grabbed Kuroo's cup and took a sip. He looked at Kuroo's direction shyly and moved closer to him. Inches from there lips touching. He slowly leaned in kissing kuroo. He could feel the strings on Kuroo's lips and yet feel it's softness. He Pushed the liquid into the small cracks of Kuroo's lips so he could drink some. So he wouldn't feel left out in anything.

Kuroo stiffened at what was occurring but leaned in for more. Kenma parted himself as he finished putting all the chocolate into Kuroo's mouth.

He looked away flushing a deep shade of red. Kuroo looked at him with teary eyes. He was so happy and thankful for Kenma. Kenma took a sip of his drink still facing away from Kuroo embarrassed. Kuroo wanted more of Kenma's lips and if this was the only excuse he could use he'll take it. He grabbed Kenma's chin towards him kissing him once more.
