Kenma slammed the front door before sliding down on it. He brought his knees to his chest and hugged them tightly as he let out a huge sob.

This was the worst thing that could of happened. Kuroo his soulmate? Why couldn't it be some random chick he could just throw away? Why did it have to be someone dear to him, someone he wouldn't be able to let go of easily.

It's not that he didn't like Kuroo. He adored him, he was his childhood best friend. They where inseparable, he just had one fear.

A loud nock was hear causing him to jump. "Kenma please open the door, it's me Kuroo." He cried.

Kenma buried his face into his knees

"I know you can hear me. I know that your afraid of commitment." He said in a sadden tone.

He wasn't fully wrong. He was scared of loosing him. Of Kuroo one day leaving this world without him. Soulmates where meant to be until the end. You don't get a second one. You only have one every life time. Kenma had heard on the news of many committing suicide after there parters left. He could only imagine how dreadful that would feel. How the itch of regret was on you for failing as a partner. That's why Kenma avoided talking or thinking about soulmates because he didn't want to know how it felt. If he didn't find his soulmate he wouldn't have to experience such saddens. He wouldn't have to suffer. Suffer like his mom...

"Stop running away from your problems." Kuroo banged once more as his hand hit on the door.

You could hear his voice crack. You could hear how devastated he was from seeing how his soulmate just ran away from him. How he got plain out rejected.

Kenma covered his ears as tears fell down his face.

"Please Kenma, let me in." Kuroo pleaded.

Kuroo's pov
Kuroo walked into his house. He was currently living at one of the small houses his parents own. He dropped his stuff onto the floor and fell onto his bed. He had cried all the way back home and now he was going to continue. That was until he received a phone call. He looked down to see it was Souta. He recently just met him in one of his classes the guy he was kind of weird but who was Kuroo to say that? Kuroo sighed as he picked up.

"Hello?" Kuroo said

"Ah Kuroo! It's me Souta!"

"Yes I know, what's up?"

"So I'm getting kicked out my place because I don't have enough to pay rent. And I was wondering if you could let me crash at your place. Only for a few days." Souta says.

Kuroo looked around his place. It was enough for two people to live so it wouldn't hurt but at the same time was it really the best time? He was about to yell into his pillow and throw shit around but now he couldn't.

"Please Kuroo I swear I'll pay you back in someway." He pleaded.

"Yea okay I'll let you crash." He gave in. Not wanting to be rude or anything.

"Perfect! I'll bring my stuff there now!"

Kuroo got up and dragged himself to the bathroom to wash his face with water. He looked in the mirror to see his horrible eyes. Maybe having company over would help him get through this.

An hour went by and his doorbell rang. Kuroo went to answer it to see a scrawny looking guy with blonde hair at his door way. With boxes of his stuff next to him.

"Hello..." Kuroo says not knowing what to say.

"Ah Kuroo! Long time no see!" Souta says going inside without taking his shoes off. Kuroo lifted his finger to say something but it was to late he was already half way in the house.
