𝕶𝖊𝖓𝖏𝖎 P.O.V

Weeks Later in Xiaodong...

This was the part of the job that he dreaded the most, reconnaissance work. He inhaled deeply as he waited perched at the top of a nearby building. He was quietly watching the place his employer instructed him to be at, Stating the target would be there around this hour. So far it had been nothing but birds flying high in the night sky in ignorant bliss and male humans herding into the poorly kept establishment like cows to the slaughter. The building's condition is probably why the place was such a hot spot for committing acts of sin. In all honesty Kenji had half a mind to desert this job and town altogether and keep moving, but that's when he saw him. His Target... His prey.

He stared intently at the back of the man's head and noted his clothing to commit it to memory in case he would have trouble finding him in the building, he also noted the two bigger men that trailed protectively behind the noble. Kenji continued Watching as the target exchanged a few words with the man at the door before disappearing into the building. Kenji smiled to himself as he began to make his way gracefully down from his vantage point. His Geta's barely making a sound as he made contact with the ground. He knew this place was sleazy in terms of atmosphere so he would have to make a few alterations to his look. Opening his kimono a bit more revealing his porcelain skin and letting the material hang lower on the left side to give anyone interested enough a clear view of his left shoulder. The night air nipped at his exposed skin but he knew he would need to look like he belonged. He ruffled his hair a bit and let one side hang to cover his eye, he was always told that he looked a bit feminine when his hair was styled like this but it was perfect for this situation, not that he minded looking feminine anyway.

Kenji soon found himself walking up to the man at the door with a seductive smile on his face while leaning on the wall of the establishment. The man at the door rose a brow at him in confusion but Kenji could still sense his lust as he let his hungry gaze rake over Kenji's exposed skin. It honestly made his stomach want to turn in on itself but he kept appearances up on the outside, for the job. It really didn't take much convincing on Kenji's part, a few hair flips and subtle grazes on the man's arm and he was falling over himself to hold the door open for the Demon. The establishment wasn't as poorly kept on the inside, in fact if he hadn't known better he would've believed he was in another business entirely. The lights were dimmed only really allowing everyone enough light to see who someone was at a close distance and the purple tint the lights emitted only further made it harder to see. Incense smoke also clouded the space like an alluring fog but the smell was anything but pleasant making Kenji scrunch up his nose in disgust at the smell. There were a few dingy and chipped wooden tables thrown around the place with no rhyme or reason to the placement and low seated U-shaped couches hugging the walls of the place.

It didn't take Kenji long to spot his target sitting on one of the couches with one hand on a woman's breast and the other on a drink. 'thє filthy bastard '  Kenji thought to himself as he openly stared at the man. He never understood why humans were so prone to committing acts such as adultery, if they no longer loved their spouse then why not just end the relationship entirely? He knew a humans love was a very nuanced thing and that committing such an act didn't actually equate to the loss of love for their partner, but he himself wouldn't hurt someone he loved by doing things such as this. So when faced with it he was always puzzled. As the man hungrily kissed at the woman's neck and rubbed her roughly, Kenji could understand why the wife had requested for him to do such a task. He scouted around for the men that had walked in with the target as security and found them face deep in a glass of whatever drink the place served but far enough away so that Kenji could approach with little resistance.
