After arriving on Melemele Island in the Alola region, I met Professor Kukui who took me to his house and let me stay the night with him, his wife, Professor Burnet and their assistant Lillie, who was the most adorable and beautiful girl I ever met in my life. We had a delicious dinner and I got to really know Lillie before going to bed. Something interesting I noticed was that despite being older than Lillie and also taller than most people I know, Lillie was actually a bit taller than me. In the morning, Professor Kukui told me about the island challenge and made an offer with me that if I agree to do it, he'd let me choose a starter pokemon. I said yes and he went down to get the starter pokemon while I told Lillie that I was doing the island challenge and asked her if she wanted to join me. She said that she'd love to come with me and even hugged me. I was stunned for a few seconds but then I hugged her back and when we broke the hug, Professor Kukui came up with the starter pokemon and said that I had the choice of picking the grass type rowlet, the fire type litten or the water type popplio. After thinking about it for about a minute, I decided to choose litten and I named him Ashie. Then Professor Kukui gave me a a pokedex that he had a rotom go into and it started talking and Professor Kukui called the rotomdex. Lillie then told Professor Kukui that she was going to join me on my journey and he said that she had been a big help and wished the two of us the best. He told us that we should go to Iki town and meet the Melemele Island kahuna Hala and showed us which way to go. We then headed out to Iki town and when Lillie and I were alone, she showed me a cosmog she was taking care of and that it's name was Nebby. She told me that several months ago, she washed up unconscious on the shore near Professor Kukui's house after meeting Nebby and when Professor Burnet found her, she took Lillie in and that she'd been Professor Kukui's assistant ever since. I then asked if she had any pokemon and she showed me her alolan ninetales called Snowy she had hatched from an egg and had raised it from a vulpix until she used an ice stone to evolve it into ninetales. Eventually we arrived in Iki Town after battling some trainers during which Ashie learned fire fang and we met Hala who welcomed me to Alola and I told him that I was going to be doing the island challenge. Lillie then told me that Nebby wanted to see the ruins, so we headed towards them and when we came up to the bridge Nebby burst out of Lillie's bag, when suddenly a flock of spearows appeared and started to attack Nebby and Lillie asked me to help it since she was scared of heights, so I went out and guarded Nebby with my body while the spearows continued to peck me, when suddenly Nebby let out a big burst of energy which destroyed the bridge and Nebby and I started to fall. Suddenly we saw a pokemon quickly take out the spearows and caught me and Nebby and took us back up to where Lillie was and left. Lillie then put Nebby back in her bag and hugged me in relief. We then went back to Iki Town and told Hala what happened. He told me that the pokemon that saved me was the guardian of Melemele Island, tapu koko. Hala then said that I should go down to the pokemon school in Hau'oli City to battle some trainers there, so Lillie and I left Iki Town and as we were going back the way we came, I found a bagon which Lillie said was very rare and after catching him, I named him Jet. Something about Jet that was also rather rare was that he knew dragon dance, but he also knew bite. Eventually we arrived at the pokemon school and we saw Professor Kukui who said that there were 4 trainers I needed to beat. While Lillie and I were walking around the school, I found a magnemite which I caught and I named it Cybershock. Eventually we found all the trainers I needed to battle and I beat them with no problem, then I was called upstairs by the head teacher which worried Lillie who wondered what I might have done. I went upstairs and the head teacher commended me for beating her top students and challenged me to a battle which I won but it was a bit more of a challenge. When I came back downstairs, Lillie rejoined me and Professor Kukui wished us luck again and then we left the pokemon school. Just outside the school was a tauros who was blocking the road, but thankfully Hala came along and told me to pet it's face and when I did, it calmed down and left and we were able to continue. After not continuing too far we saw a beach, so Lillie suggested that we have some beach time and I agreed. We went to the nearest pokemon center and changed into our swimsuits then headed to the beach where we went swimming for a few hours before having a nap during which at some stage, Lillie snuggled up to me and when we woke up a few hours later, I realized that I had subconsciously wrapped an arm around her. We then packed up and went back to the pokemon center to get changed back into our normal clothes and we continued on and met a guy called Ilima who was trying to battle some thugs from a group called Team Skull, so we helped him beat them and after thanking us, he told me that he was the trial captain of Verdant Cavern a few hundred metres north of Hau'oli city, but to determine whether or not I was worthy of his trial, he had a battle with me. His pokemon were a smeargle and an eevee which caused me a few problems, but in the end I won the battle. He then said that he would see us at Verdant Cavern and left while I went with Lillie to the pokemon center to rest my pokemon, then we left Hau'oli City and battled some trainers on the way to Verdant Cavern during which Ashie learned fire fang and evolved into torracat and when we got there, Ilima told me that I would have to go in alone to do my trial, though he also had a screen that Lillie could use to watch me. I went in and Ilima told me that for my trial, I would have to beat two yungoos and a gumshoos before taking on the totem trial against a totem gumshoos. I went to one hole and a yungoos came out and I used Jet to beat it resulting in him learning brick break. I went to another hole and found another yungoos which I also easily beat with Jet, then I went to every hole in the cavern but the gumshoos kept avoiding me and I saw some members of Team Skull who I battled with Ashie and won with no problem, then I continued to check holes until I found a gumshoos and beat it with Jet. I then continued to the other side of Verdant Cavern and saw a huge gumshoos come down and challenged me to a battle. During the battle, I was continuously having Jet use brick break but eventually the totem gumshoos called down a yungoos which I had to beat to beat the totem trial, but thankfully, he finally beat the gumshoos and then the yungoos which won me the totem trial. I then saw a strange crystal and picked it up then took it out of Verdant Cavern and showed Ilima who told me that it was a Z crystal called the Normalium-Z. Then Lillie came over and hugged me in excitement after seeing me battle so well in the totem trial. Then Professor Kukui came along and demonstrated a Z-move. Ilima then had me practise the pose for the normal type Z-move Breakneck Blitz. Once I had mastered the pose, Ilima told me that my next challenge was the grand trial against the kahuna Hala. Then Lillie took my hand and we went to the pokemon center after seeing that it was getting late and just before dinner, we had a conversation that would change our lives forever. Lillie asked, "Jason, can I tell you something?" "Of course, Lillie." I replied. Then Lillie said, "Jason, I think I'm in love with you." I was stunned for about 10 seconds, but then, as tears filled my eyes, I said, "Lillie, I'm in love with you too. Ever since I saw you, I just thought that you were the most adorable and beautiful girl I've ever seen in my life." Then I took a deep breath and asked, "Lillie, will you be my girlfriend?" Tears of joy started to flow down Lillie's face and she said, "Yes Jason, I'd love to be your girlfriend." We then had a passionate kiss that lasted about 20 seconds, then we had dinner and went to bed for the night and in the morning we had breakfast and started to make our way back to Iki Town.
