After winning my battle against the Hoenn champion Steven, May and I went back to Petalburg City during which she told me that she had the dream of taking over the gym when her dad retired, meaning that she would be unable to continue travelling with me because she would have to train on her own until that time came. After staying one last night with May's family we had breakfast then May and I tearfully hugged each other one last time for longer than ever before, then I said goodbye and headed down to Littleroot Town to give Professor Birch my pokemon to send to Professor Oak, then Professor Birch drove me to the airport where he told me that my next region was the Sinnoh region. He then gave me a ticket for a plane to Sinnoh that Professor Oak requested he give to me. I then said goodbye to Professor Birch and boarded the plane to Sinnoh and when I got there I had to go Twinleaf Town where I met a woman who let me stay the night in exchange for me telling her why I came to Sinnoh. That night she made a delicious dinner and I went to bed for the night.
