I woke up with a headache. I cried too much. I stood up and changed my clothes. I'm going to visit my pack. I haven't visited them for days. When I got downstairs I immediately spotted Taehyung cooking. When he noticed me, he showed me his boxy smile for the first time.
"Good morning Kimjie" He greeted me.
"Good morning Taehyung" I greeted him back.
"Just wait on the table. The food will be served in no time"
"Okay" I took a seat down and waited. After for sometime, he was finally able to serve the foods that he cooked.
"It looks delicious" I mentally drooled over the food.
"Of course. It is the Kim Taehyung who cooked it for you" He sat down next to me.
"I'm so honored" I chuckled to my own words and he immediately joined too. We ate in silence. Not awkward, it's like we're enjoying each others company. After we're done eating, I gathered the used plates and was going to bring it to the sink but Taehyung stopped me and said he will do it.
"I'll wash the plates, just go get change cause we're going out" He said grabbing the plates from my hands and brought it to the sink.
"What if we get caught by my packs or hunters?" I ask him worriedly.
"Don't worry we'll just have a picnic in the forest and I'll protect you no matter what"
"I can protect myself" I walk upstairs but was stopped midway.
"I'll protect my mate from the people who will try hurting her even if she doesn't want to"
"H-how" I faced him with a shocked face.
"Your Beta told me, now go get change. We're leaving in 10 minutes" He packed the foods that we're going to eat later and cleaned the sink.
"Okay" I quickly run towards my room because I don't want him to wait for me for a long time. I changed into a red dress that my Father gave to me. Once I got downstairs, I saw Taehyung dressed in a formal attire. His hair was comb neatly. How can he be so handsome?. I finally said what I wanted to say.
"You look so beautiful Kimjie" He winked to me.
"You look fine" I was so nervous to say that ' you look handsome'.
"Not even handsome?" He made a pouty face.
"N-no, I mean you look h-handsome" I hid my tomato face.
"Hahaha no need to be embarrassed" He holds my hand and we walk to the forest but we didn't knew that someone was following us.
"You look happy son but it won't last long. I'll kill your mate and you will finally be able to get married to Bora" After he said that, he keeps following his son.
