"Great. This is totally your fault." Sophie moaned to Conner. "Hey! I tried!" Conner said. "Whatever." They were locked up in the basement of the house where both men slept.

Conner grinned at Sophie. "What?!" Sophie asked. "I bet you'll be happy when you see this." Conner said, struggling to take something out of his pocket. Suddenly, a shiny key and a metal pocket knife slipped out. Sophie's face lightened up and Conner beamed. He took the pocket knife (he was struggling) and finally got to cut his ropes. He then cut Sophie's and Keefe's ropes. "Uggggg...Foster? You there?" Keefe bolted up and looked for Sophie. "I'm here." Sophie said. Keefe saw Conner and practically ran over him. "WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT DO YOU WANT?!"

"Keefe! Stop it!" Sophie cried. "Wha..."

"He's helping us." Sophie rolled her eyes. "Oh...sorry then." Keefe's 'sorry' didn't not have a meaning in it. Conner didn't seem to notice and silently opened the door with the key. "Let's go!" He whispered. They all tiptoed outside, into the woods. "It's this way." Conner said, following the map. "No, I'll lead." Keefe snapped, snatching the map. "Suits me." Conner said. Sophie and Conner followed Keefe until they reached a fence. They hopped over it and found their school. "Whew!" Sophie sighed. "Well...thanks Conner. Gotta go though." Sophie said, dashing to Havenfield. "I have my eye on you Mr. Conner." Keefe said. "Just Conner. Not Mr." Conner said. "Whatever." Keefe said, running to his house too.

"Grady! Edaline!" Sophie said, bursting into the house. "SOPHIE!!" Grady shouted, running to hug her. "We were SO worried!!" Edaline said. "What happened?!" She asked. "Oh..um I got lost in the woods." Sophie lied. She wasn't about to have then worried sick. "Oh....Well rest up." Grady said.

The next morning, Sophie walked into the gym like everyone else. "Hey, Foster!" Keefe said, walking towards her. "Um hi." Sophie softly said. "LET'S GOOO SOPHIE!!!" Biana shouted, bouncing towards them. "Let's dress up already!" she squealed. "Oh no I forgot about the dance!!" Sophie groaned. "I suggest we dress up too." Dex said, popping behind Keefe. "Fine. But I have dibs dancing with Foster." Keefe said. "Fine."

"I hate this dress." Sophie moaned. "It's the simplest dress!" Biana argued. "Fine. I guess it IS a little good..." Sophie said.

Sophie's dress: Blue dress with longer back and a thin gold strap around the middle.

Biana's dress: black at the top and Ombre to the bottom with purple, orange and white.

"Look at her! Isn't she beautiful?!" Biana said, after everyone was gathered, waiting for the dance to begin. "Yep." Keefe agreed.

Keefe's outfit: a black tuxedo

"Okay boys and girls...let the dance begin!"

Keefe immediately turned to Sophie. "Ready Foster?"

"Ready to ditch this place? Yup great plan ok bye." Sophie said, running for the door. "No! For the dance!" Keefe said. "Noooo." Said Sophie. Keefe grabbed her arms and they began to dance. (even though Sophie kept groaning and protesting). "You know...are you over Fitz?" Keefe asked. "Uhh y-yeah totally-"

Fitz just walked past, dancing with another girl. Sophie cringed. "Ah....so you're not." Keefe said. "Yes, I am!" Sophie shot. "Yeah whatever you say Foster."

Dex scowled at the two of them. Biana just smiled. "Merry Christmas Foster."

"Switch dancer now!" The teachers commanded everyone.

Sophie sighed. "Merry Christmas."
