Fitz POV
I watched Sophie and Keefe run together after school. Why. When did all my mistakes happen? Why did I let them date? Why??? "Fitz." I heard. I turned around and saw Lihn. "I heard you." She softly said. "Heard me say what?" I asked. "I heard you threaten Keefe and Sophie." Lihn answered. "I-oh." I said, looking down at my shoes. "I'm glad you let them...be them." Lihn suddenly said. "Yeah...well...thanks." I mumbled.
After school
3rd person POV
Sophie was walking home when Biana yanked her into Everglen. "What the-"
"Shh! No protesting." Biana said, taking her makeup supplies out. "Bi nooo!" Sophie groaned. "I said no protesting!" Biana said, pulling out a simple dress. She did her makeup and took her somewhere else. "Biana what are you doing?" Sophie asked. Biana led her to a boat and just left. "What-BIANA!"
"Hello M'lady." Sophie heard someone say. "Keefe!" Sophie exclaimed. Keefe put 2 lanterns at the front of the boat as they were floating along the water. "What's this about?" Sophie asked. "Oh y'know. A date." Keefe smirked. Sophie rolled her eyes. "At least Wonderboy didn't crash the date again." Keefe laughed. "Yep." Sophie sighed, looked at the surface of the water.
A few hours later, Sophie yawned. "I think we should go back."
"Okay then." Keefe said, steering the boat back.
"Goodnight." Sophie said, stepping into Havenfield. "Night Foster."
"See ya tomorrow!" Sophie said, fiddling with her necklace.
In the bushes, Starlight was watching, enviously.
