Welcome, welcome, one and all to our hot cocoa celebration of silly souls
You've written the stories, and we've read them. We laughed, we cried, we enjoyed some light drama.
You have all done amazing as writers, but we also want to thank our fabulous judge who really helped make this award what it should be. Please give WrennaStone and novelingmylifeaway lots of love in the comments for all their hard work 🎭
And now for the results...
In third place we have "When Words Don't Speak" by broken_lies45 and "The Art of Starting Over" by AliasTummas1 with a tied score 86/100 points
Review for broken_lies45:
I loved the unique concept the story presented. The intro to the story was a very interesting way to start it off, it left the reader wondering more about what was going to happen next. I really liked the characters and plot line. Overall, it was a very good story I thoroughly enjoyed reading.
Review for AliasTummas1:
Right from the prologue, your writing took my breath away. You provide such beautiful and vivid descriptions of Ally's world that made me feel as if I had been walking right beside her (and I wish I could be... it sounds lovely there!). The dialogue between characters is lively and realistic. It never got clunky or robotic, but stayed natural throughout. Ally is quite relatable -- and incredibly likeable. She and Sosa have such a lovely friendship dynamic... and I must admit, Jeremy is quite the charmer. All of your characters flow well together to bring a wonderfully memorable story! Well done!

In second place we have "Broken Down" by Eveleft13 with 87/100 points
Review:
I have to start off by saying that I read through a third of your story in one sitting with no idea how much time passed. It was THAT good. Jessa gives me all the feels. At first, I wasn't sure how much I would like her... but, good lord, she ended up breaking my heart. I'm so utterly attached to her now that I can't wait to dive back in to finish her story. I often get nervous going into stories that discuss mental health, because often the portrayals are executed with stereotypical representations that don't match up with reality. Your story is not that way at ALL. I have to applaud you greatly for how well you've written Jessa's character. Phenomenal job! I'm looking forward to having a few extra moments to finish reading this.
🎭
And in first place with a score of 92/100 points we have "On the Edge of Tomorrow" by
Review:
On the Edge of Tomorrow scored the highest in this category because it has an amazing variety of words and descriptive detail. I felt like I was inside the story, watching it all unfold. OliviaRose436 had an amazing way of slowly unraveling the characters and told fantastic stories, making it feel as if you've known the characters for years. The idea was original and everything was so vivid and lifelike. I was definitely in awe of the writing skill shown here and I believe it's worth the grade given.
