My eyes widen. I felt so dizzy. I couldn't see who was over me, but he had dark skin and dark hair, and his eyes were mesmerising, they shone through the blueness of my vision.

"Hey..... are you okay?" The boy asked

"Yes yes, I'm- I'm fine" i mumbled back "who are you?"

He look my hand and lifted me up to my feet, and answered.

"Blaise"
While he whispered his name a grin appeared on his structured face, and a grin appeared on mine.

"I'm glad you're okay" Blaise said nervously

"Thank you, I'm not really sure what happened" I said rubbing my head, still feeling light headed

"Well you, kind of collapsed. In front of the whole school" Blaise chuckled

I felt so embarrassed. Now I remember what happened. I'm glad Blaise was here when I woke up. He's so sweet.

"All of the rest of Slytherin left. You didn't make a good first impression, being so desperate not wanting to be in this house. We're not all bad" he exclaimed, smirking.

"No no" I cried, "it's not that I hate Slytherin or the people in it" I began to ramble with nervousness "I don't at all, I don't hate Slytherin people in the house I- well I've only met you and you are very good looking and-"

... did I just say that out loud, yes I said it out loud. I could see Blaise blushing.

"It's okay Y/N, or shall I say 'the new girl', I've got to get to bed, its getting late. You'll fit in really well in here, don't you worry"

He walked away, hoping he'd look back. And I was left alone in the Slytherin common room. Not knowing what to tell my parents when they rang. Shall I lie? Tell them the truth? Let's just get to bed.

I woke up the next morning and my first class was potions. I ran through the halls hoping I wasn't late for my first class. Which I wasn't, but I was the last one to arrive, like I was to the school. And so I got last pick of the seats. I walked over to one of the empty seats and began to take the chair out from beneath the table ,until someone slapped their hand on it.

"It's taken"

I look left to the voice sitting at the seat. My first sight was the boys hair, his hair was a mop of blond strands, a thousand shades of gold framing his eyes, one glance of those blue eyes told a lifetime of struggle that had never been put into words. He had distinct cheekbones and an angular jaw, his pale skin made him look devilishly handsome. His voice was deep, whenever he spoke, every head in the room would turn. He had that rich, silky tone. He speaks as if he controls the world.

His looks made me stutter.

"I- erm- who- Hm sorry"

"Remove yourself Reine" he clasped

And that is when a brown haired girl walked into the room, she was tall and thin, and kept her chin high.

"Pansy! You're late" The platinum haired boy laughed

"Oh shut up Draco" Pansy chuckled back

I was all muddled. His blue eyes were stuck to my thoughts like cello tape. Completely flustered. I jumped to the other seat next to Draco and he again slammed his hand down.

"Taken"

"Actually Mr Malfoy, Mr Crabbe isn't feeling too well so that seat isn't taken. Have a seat now Miss Reine" Professor Snape uttered

I saw Draco roll his eyes in disbelief as he lifted his veiny hands off of the chair. I sat down next to him.

The aroma of his cologne was as comforting as the blackest of warm summer nights. The dewy citrus that is both crisp and clean is supported by an underpinning of freshly-laundered linen sheets flapping nosily in the breeze. The smell of mint lingered to my nostrils, its sweet and bold at the same time. His scent was intoxicating.

We had to be put into pairs and Pansy went with one of her girlfriends. So I was stuck with Draco, well, actually, he was stuck with me.
