DARYL'S POV
We arrived at the city's park and I packed my car . I rushed out of the car so as Kate and Sofie . I looked around but didn't find Zoey anywhere.
It's already late .
I checked the time and it was already 12:15am. Where could she be ?
"Sofie , where did she say she is again ?" . I asked
" This is the exact place she said she is ". She replied .
" But ... she's not here ". I said looking around .
" I'll try calling her " . Sofie said bringing out her phone . I looked around still in search of Zoey .
Please nothing should happen to Zoey . I ain't gonna forgive myself if anything happens .
" She's not answering ". Sofie said .
" Try again " . I said walking around .
My eyes caught a light coming from the abandoned house. I moved closer and heard Zoey's ringing phone .
" Guys ... I think Zoey's in here ". I said holding the door knob . I tried opening it but it was locked .
" Daryl don't go in there .
That house has been abandoned fo some years and I heard its hunted.
Please don't go ..." I cut Kate off.
" Do you think I care if it's hunted or not ?
Zoey's in there and I'm going in there to save her . " I said trying to open the door .
I pushed it with full force and it opened .
" Give me my phone " . I said to Sofie . She gave it to me immediately.
" Daryl please it's not safe " . I heard Kate say from outside .
Right now , I don't care . I just need to find Zoe and apologise to her.
" Are you guys coming ? " I asked turning on my phone torch .
" Ya " Sofie said and looked at Kate . She sighed.
"Guess I have no choice then " .
We walked in gently pointing our torches around .
" Zoey !!! you in here ? " I shouted .
" Zoey !!! ". Sofie screamed .
" We need to find the light switch " . She said.
" C'mon , this place has been abandoned for years so there's no damn way we'll find
the light switch ". Kate said .
I don't know but Kate's acting like she doesn't care about Zoey.
I hope I'm wrong.
We walked silently around the house for what seems like years but still no sign of Zoey.
I'm not giving up that easily .
" C'mon guys ... let's just go home .
I'm already tired . Kate grouched.
" You really wanna leave without finding Zoey ?
Such a wicked soul ". I heard Sofie say .
" Did u just say I have a wicked soul ? " Kate said walking towards Sofie .
" Ya ... or do I have to repeat myself " . Sofie replied .
I wasn't really in the mood to settle their fight . I just need to find my Zoey .
I stopped and looked around pointing my torch . I was still hearing Kate and Sofie fighting.
Immediately , my eyes caught something. I didn't really see it clearly. I moved slowly till the image came to view.
It was ...
" Zoey !!!" I yelled and ran towards her . I bent to her level and found her lying lifeless on the floor .
" Jesus Christ ".
SOFIE'S POV .
" You're such a bastard Sofie ... you're the one with a wicked soul ". Kate said angrily.
I don't really care right now . I just need to find Zoey and I'm sure Kate doesn't care about her. Thinking of it , I think Kate doesn't really like Zoey at all that's why she's acting less concerned.
I was still lost in my thought when I heard Daryl's scream .
Did he just say Zoey ??
Without a second thought , I ran to where Daryl was only to see him with Zoey's lifeless body .
I couldn't hold on my tears that moment so I let it roll down my cheeks freely. I looked over to Daryl and found him just staring at Zoey speechless. I can see him trying hard to fight back his tears .
I cleaned my eyes and continued staring at Zoey .
" Why did this have to happen to her ?
Why this ? " I said still in tears .
I looked over to where Kate was and saw her smirking evily.
" To hell with you Kate !!!" I yelled at her angrily .
