EPILOGUE ( MONTHS LATER )

Daryl sat on a chair at the balcony staring into space . Different thoughts racing through his mind .

Tears welled in his eyes .
She shouldn't have died. 
Why did she have to die - why so soon ?!

The cracking sound of the opening door snapped him out of his thoughts . He diverted his gaze to the door and a smile formed on his lips when he saw her. 

" You're here - still thinking about her right?  " She asked and walked towards him , sitting beside him .

He sighed " Yeah ... memories of her are still in my mind . She shouldn't have died ".

"I'm sorry you had to loose her Daryl.  I'm sorry ". He smiled and wrapped his hands on hers and she smiled too .

" I'm happy I didn't loose you too " . He muttered and drew her closer to his chest , hugging her tight .

She giggled and clutched him tighter .

The door swung open and they quickly disengaged from the hug. 

" Zoey !!! Uncle Daryl !!!
Andrain just asked Lindy to be his girlfriend and Lee-chun did the same - he asked Sofie to be his girlfriend!  "Emmy giggled and ran towards them.

" And they kissed.  "She whispered and closed her eyes .

Zoey and Daryl stared at her as she closed her eyes and giggled.  She removed her hand from her eyes and found their gaze on her .

" Hey - don't give me that look .
Trust me , my eyes were shut tight when they kissed.
I didn't see a thinggggg . " She grinned and winked.

" You're a naughty little girl .
Come over here ! " Daryl said and began chasing after her .

Emmy took to her heels and ran away with her tiny legs , screaming and giggling at the same time as Daryl chased after her .

Zoey smiled and watched them as they ran into the house leaving her alone in the balcony. 

ZOEY'S POV .
It's been months since the mansion exploded consuming all our properties including her - Kate .

She didn't survive it .
Luckily , I did . It was kind of like a miracle , and I'm alive and greatful .

Before the house had exploded - when the witch doctor had left me alone in the house,  another lightning had struck me making me be myself again .

I rose up from where I had layed  on the ground and headed outside -through the back door . Though I was still feeling very weak due to the pains around my body but I gathered all the strength I had left and walked out of the mansion. 

I was on my way to the front of the mansion - were my friends where before the house had exploded making me fall hard on the floor .

I was so lucky to had not be affected by the fire . I heard my friends shouting and calling on me and it gave me the strenght to stand on my feet again. 

I took light steps and headed to where their voices had came from . Lee-chun had been the first to see me approaching them , he alerted them and they all rushed towards me - surprise written all over their faces .

Yes , they asked me so many questions and the fire department had arrived and was taking care of the burning building before we realized someone was missing -Kate was missing .

We were baffled asking ourselves the same questions -where had she gone?! We were still asking ourselves those questions when we saw them rushing a body into the ambulance. 

Unluckily , that was Kate. .. She was the one who had been rushed .

She had died and it really broke my heart into many pieces .

No one wanted her dead.
No matter all what she's done to us , we never wanted her dead . We never wanted her to end up like that.

I wiped the tears on my face with the back of my palm and looked up to the sky .

Anytime I remember that day , it ... it gets me emotional.  I never wanted her dead even after all she's done to me , she isn't supposed to die. 

I would have forgiven her if she was alive today.  We would have fixed things between us and become good friends .

The door slowly cracked open and Daryl walked towards me and stared into my face .

" You're crying ?! " He arched his brows and I looked away and quickly wiped the tears away from my face .

I heard him sigh as he quickly got hold of my hand and pulled me up .

" Clean those tears .
I hate to see them "  He mumbled and pulled me into a hug .

" I love you okay ? " We pulled out of the hug and our eyes got locked on each other .

Its been really long I looked deep into his eyes - I've missed this .

He held my waist and pulled me closer to him ,smashing his lips on mine . I wrapped my hands round his neck and deepened the kiss .

The door suddenly swung open " Aaaaah ! They're kissing too ?! " We heard Emmy yell and we quickly broke out of the kiss and watched her run back into the house. 

" Ignore her ." Daryl whispered and pulled my face closer , smashing his lips back on mine .

We kissed for a very long time sucking on each others lips .

I've missed this , I've missed his lips on mine ; I've missed all the good times we spent together and I'm happy to be alive to witness it again. 

I'm glad I made it !!!

" I love you Daryl " . I muttered inside his lips and he drew me closer and deepened the kiss .
