His eyes went wide, "W-what?"

I gave him a look, "Why are you surprised at that?"

"I-i'm not, I just didn't think you'd be that type..."

"What's that suppose to mean? Look, Killua I'm telling you this 'cause I want to...I already told Gon."

He snapped back, a hint of jealous in his icy blue eyes. Huh?

I scooted away this time, "Yes...Then he told me that you were right about me! What's that even mean?!"

The jealousy vanished from his eyes instantly as they filled with a slight anger.

He turned away, "Damn it! Of course he'd tell you! That idiot!"

I was getting irritated, he was hiding something and I'm going to find out what. I sharpened my nails again, grabbed his shoulders and dug them in. He jolted up, spun around and faced me

Just as he was about to say something, I cut him off and dug my nails deeper into his shoulders, he actually flinched.

"You don't get to say shit right now, Killua! You're going to tell me what the hell he was talking about!"

Anger was building fast in his eyes and they started to go blank. Mine started to do the same and I dug my nails deeper, piercing his skin.

His nails sharpened, "Let go of me right now, Nala!"

"Not going to happen! I can keep this up all night, you better give me an answer."

He brought his face close to mine and stared back into my blank crimson eyes, reading me. My heartrate quicken at his gaze and my nails started to loosen form his shoulders.

He smirked, "No you can't, I can see right through you."

My fingers dropped from his shoulders as my nails unsharpened themselves. Blush flooded my face as my eyes went back to normal, his did the same as he unsharpened his nails.

I threw my hands up, "Fine! Just fucking tell me what Gon meant!"

His smirk faltered as he pulled he face from mine, that feeling again...

"Fine. The night of your job, after I chased you out, you ended up dropping your knife you used."

He dug around in his pocket, I just stared. That's when he pulled out my knife, my eyes went wide as he continued.

He held it up, "You left it there in the emergency exit room and you were crying the whole time.... Assassin's can't show any signs of weakness."

"Yeah, and?" I said softly.

"And, after all that, Gon and I saw you leave. It was like you wanted to get out of there, did you?"

I sighed heavily and turned from him, "Yes...I hate being an assassin and killing people, even if it is for money..."

He sighed heavily, I turned back to him and rubbed my arm.

He played with my knife, "What I told Gon was, there was something off about you, Nala. And it turns out I was right, you basically just told me."

Tears started to form in my eyes, "Fine! You found me out, Killua! I hate my family, you have no idea what's it's like living with them!"

He stopped playing with my knife and clenched his fists. I stared up at him, and scooted away more, he was angry I could sense it.

"You wanna a bet? I'm an assassin too, I hate my family just as much as you hate yours! Why do you think I'm here with Gon?!"

My eyes went wide, a shy tear was making it's way down his cheek, I instantly took back what I said.
