One day at the cottage I was out in the barn tending to the animals when some Knights came up. I hid in the hayloft as soon as I saw the horses. They went into the cabin and tore through the house. Eric was thrown out the door and held for questioning for having my necklace that lay beside the bed I slept in. Eric was taken prisoner and sent to the castle. I had to get Eric back but that meant going back to Leo again. I grabbed up my things and saddled my horse. It had been an hour since the Knights left. I wanted to give them time to get back.
I went as fast as my horse would take me. I made it into the castle gate just as the guards recognized me. One grabbed at my arm before I slapped him ordering him to back away. I walked for word keeping my pace fast and ahead of the guards.
I opened the door leading to the thrown room where Eric was being questioned.
"Stop!!" I yelled as I passed through the door.
Leo looked up quickly at the sound of my voice. I made it halfway toward Leo before the guards grabbed me. "Let her go" Leo said. The guards drop me letting me fall to the hard floor. Leo jumps from his thrown stopping to pick me up. I accepted his help but only to run to Eric to free him. Leo grabs my arm which cuts me off from Eric. "Let him go" I told Leo.
Leo wasn't listening he just held onto me.
I pushed Leo away. "Leo...Listen to me..Eric is innocent he had nothing to do with my disappearance...I choose to leave." I said.
Leo looked at Eric with disgust. In his mind Leo thought I had an affair with Eric.
I didn't of course, I only live in the same cottage but never the same bed.
"Send him to the dungeon he is to be punished for adultery" Leo said in anger.
"No..we did no such thing" I said. Eric was yanked up by his arms and dragged to the dungeon below. I pleaded with Leo telling him that he helped me. I didn't have any sexual activity with him.
Leo ordered me to my chamber. My maids that Leo assigned to me came and took me by my arms and walked me to my room.
I had to get Eric out of here but how? Leo would keep tabs on me and where I'm at at all times.
After I was in my room the maids locked me in.
