I felt empty and numb as I walked the courtyard towards the large castle doors. Leo walked in front of me while he was swarmed with servants taking his robes and sword. A few servants came to me asking to help but I shooed them away. Leo was a good ways ahead of me but I could feel the murderous ora from here. It only made it worse to see Leo standing so tall and so uncaring about the murder he just committed.
Leo slowed down waiting on me to catch up to him but I did not want to be near him now. I just wanted to get to my chamber and stay there. I held tightly to the box of dresses keeping them close. I had only dresses and a small note with Eric's handwriting on it.
Leo was next to me now which made me furious. He studied my face before he came in for a kiss. I turned my face away making his kiss go to my cheek.
Leo's hand had snaked around my wrist holding it quite forceful as he tried to kiss me again.
"Stop" I almost screamed.
Leo seemed to snap back to reality and he let go of my wrist.
I got away from him walking almost too fast to be considered a walk. I made it to my chamber locking the door behind me as I land on my bed. The box was now placed on a side table where it was safe and out of the way. I closed my eyes and drifted away into sleep.
I woke with a start when someone was twisting hard at the non of my chamber door. I got up and walked towards the door.
"Who's there?" I asked.
"It's Leo" he said.
"Go away" I said sharply.
"I just wanted to see how you were doing" he said.
"Fine....now go on before you wake the whole castle" I said.
It wasn't long before his footsteps grew fainter. I was alone again.
