Days pasted us by as Leo slowly recovered. He was a hard king to handle always ordering about his servants to get him this and that. The women that use to stay the night now vanished. Leo was left with me which in my opinion wasn't a good thing. Leo was very demanding at times and was hardly satisfied.
He was walking but still he gave out orders like he was still bedridden.
Though in the back of my mind I knew that his mistresses would come back if they found out he was well.
One morning I decided to see Leo so I got up from the study and went to check on him.
I knocked on his door waiting to hear him say come in but there was silents. I opened the door just a crack. I found Leo under the covers sleeping peacefully but when I opened the door even more I found one of his maids with him. I closed the door and ran to my chamber. I couldn't believe he was with another woman again. Why was I here? Why does he keep me prisoner here in this castle while he sleeps with other women?
I had a plan and that plan was to escape. I wanted my freedom back and I was going to get it. So my plan was to sneak out tonight and head as far as possible using the golden jewels on my neck to pay my way out of here.
