I looked into his eyes and the only thing that I could see in them was a pain. Pain that I inflicted upon him.
The look in his eyes broke my heart even more than it was already broken causing stained whimper to escape my lips.
"I-I needed to.." I whimpered once again looking at how his brows pulled together creating a crease in between.
"Why? Why would you need to leave me?" He breathed out in confusion, searching my face for an answer.
"I-I c-can't.." mumbling I tried to turn my head but he gripped my chin harder forcing my head to stay in the place.
"Why? Tell me. I need to know." "You don't understand I... I can't." Croaking out I could feel my eyes stung with tears that started to pool.
"Then make me understand." His words held so much emotion and soft demanded that I completely broke down. Pushing my head in his neck I wrapped my hands around him pulling my body against him in search of comfort.
"I needed to keep you safe. He.. he would have killed you if I didn't do what he wanted of me." I sobbed. His body stilled under me and the hands that were around me froze.
Grabbing my shoulders he pulled me away from him sending a feeling of emptiness and rejection through me.
"What did you just said?" He asked confusion dripping from his words "Who- what- killing me? I don't understand. Who told you that?" His hand made its way on my cheek holding me in place so he would see my face while at the same time his thumb wiped the tears that escaped my eye.
"He.. he said that he would kill you if I didn't go with him."
"Who?" He questioned looking at me with anger and curiosity swimming in his orbs. "Leandro." I croaked out as feelings of pain and torture travel through my body.
"Who is he? Wha-what does he have to do with your disappearance? What did he do?" He was shooting questions but all I could do I look at him. The anger waved from him in waves. "Tell me." He hissed with pain in his voice.
Shaking my head I pulled away looking at my hands. Dante jumped out of the bed pulling his boxers on and started pacing the room furiously. His hands shook at his sides and an angry scowl never left his face.
Running a hand through his hair he turned towards me looking at me with an unreadable expression "Answer me for fuck sake." He yelled causing a cold shiver to run through my body and an unpleasant almost scared feeling to crawl inside me.
"H-.. he took me away that day. He told me that he would kill you and everyone else if I didn't leave everything and went with him. He would kill my aunt, your family, and you." I cried out as I sat and pulled my legs towards my chest.
