Knock knock.

"Miss Olive?"

Knock.

"Miss Olive."

"Here, allow me."

The door creaked open as I slowly woke up, "what do you want," I asked not opening my eyes just yet.

"Breakfast is soon. The servants will dress you then I'll escort you there."

I looked up and glared at him, "I'd rather stay on the bridge than be escorted by you,"

"I am sorry you are easily scared, but I am afraid that we need that brute's help," he crossed his arms.

I huffed, throwing the blankets off of me and getting out of the bed, "then get out." Loki walked to the door and opened it motioning to the girls to dress me. The girls sped into the room with cream colored dress with gold trim, they set it on the bed and stripped me of the warm nightgown. I quickly cover my chest but soon had forced me to walk into the dress and put my a through the sleeves.

"Now this is the hard part, Miss," Kelby directed me to hold onto the post on the bed as Gale started to tighten the corseted back. After nearly passing out I was done, they put on my shoes and walked me out of the room.

"How does she look, Your Highness," Gale asked getting Loki's attention.

"Presentable," Loki walked up to me, grabbed my arm and tried to drag me. Me, not use to wearing heels I stumbled over my skirts embracing the ground but it never came. I slowly opened my eyes looking up I made eye contact with Loki who's arm was around my waist. Glaring at him I got back on my feet, gripped to the wall and went down the stairs that lead to the dining hall. "Wait, Olive."

"What do you want," I watch him running down the stairs after me, after reaching the same step as me he offers his arm to me, "I haven't warn heels in about 6 years and I've never worn a corset in my life. If you drag me one more time I'm leaving and you can deal with this problem yourself." Loki and I continued to walk down the stairs in silence. We both took a deep breath as soon as we got to the doors, looked at each other and nodded at the men to open the doors. Platters of pancakes lined the table with fruits and various syrups. Thor and his friends had already taken up half of the table with their platters half gone.

"Brother. Miss. You're both awake," Thor's voice boomed.

"Good morning, Thor," Loki took a breath, "now let's get down to business. Malekith's men aren't all dead," this raised the god's eyebrow as Loki continued, "we were attacked at Olive's house, we don't know how many more of them."

"Do you think Malekith is still alive," I looked at both Thor and Loki. The brothers look at each other for a moment.

"Malekith turned to dust with the kingdom he ruled, they must be the remaining elves trying to find our locations. You two go to Midgard and I shall watch over. If there's another I want to take him back here to question him," we nodded. Loki stood and I copied him, "Miss Olive, a word," Thor spoke as he stood up and motioned me to follow him.

"Don't be too long, we have to defend Midgard," Loki mutters. I follow Thor down to a doorway into a large hallway with many windows, birds chirped as I followed the large god.

"My brother has always been one for many secrets and I don't expect him to change, but in spite of appearance he's a good man. He's been through a lot throughout his life, just you both be careful and look out for him, I'm putting my trust in you," all I could do was nod before I was pulled into a bear hug, in all honesty I couldn't tell him we weren't together. He turned towards where we just came from and offered his arm for me to hold onto and I obliged.

"Your brother doesn't give you any time to talk does he?"

"Never has never will," the ebony haired man replied as we approached the rainbow bridge, I sigh heavily not wanting to walk across the bridge of nightmares. Loki was already a quarter across the bridge when he had noticed I wasn't by him, he rolled his eyes, sped walked to me and offered his hand to me. My clammy one grabbed his freezing one and he led us to Heimdall as I looked up at the sky trying to stop thinking about what was under my feet.

"Alright Heimdall take us back," I elbow Loki a little forcing him to let out a please and Heimdall happily obliged.

We landed on the bottom of my yard, still in the hard to breathe dress, "that was a fun family reunion," I said as we trekked up the hill.

"I guarantee that if Mother was still around we would still be in Asgard and she would be planning a wedding, so be glad that wasn't the case."

"What was she like," Loki stopped for a moment, looked back at me and glared, "we don't have to take about it if we don't want to. I was just trying to make conversation,"

"Then don't,"

Note to self. Don't talk about Loki's mom.

Loki sped walked into the house as I took my heels off to make my way up the hill a little easier and followed him in. The next challenge was to take off this awful thing. I took one arm and tried to take it off from the bottom, then from the top. I then put my back against the wall and tried again.

This is such a trap.

Just then an annoyed Loki came out from his room, "Turn around. You're annoying me,"

"But wouldn't it be taboo for a prince to undo my corset," I asked. He rolled his eyes as he turned me. I took the deepest breath in and exhaled as he got lower down my back muttering that I could've gotten it. His icy fingers barely grazed me as he pulled away.

"Sure you could. By tomorrow."

With that Loki went into his room and I went to my room to change out of the now undone dress. I put the dress on a hanger and partially tied it so it wouldn't fall off the hanger in the closet. I tossed my robe on so I could take a quick shower and grabbed a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt. I was a leg and a half into shaving when Loki opened the door. I held the curtain against myself so he wouldn't see anything.

"Can't a girl get a little bit of privacy?"

"This keeps going off and it's driving me insane," he said putting my cell phone on the sink counter then closed the door as he left. I quickly finished both legs hoping I didn't leave too many patches on them. After drying off and putting the clothes on I looked at my phone to see seven missed phone calls and five FaceTime calls from my sister. I swiped one of the notifications to call her, she instantly picked up. There was uncontrollable sobbing coming from the other line.

"Uh, hello. Faith, take a deep breath. What's wrong?"

"James."
